This ring is beautiful! The only thing that I was just dissatisfied with was the fact that the gold eventually wore off, despite removing the ring, while washing my hands or showering. Otherwise, the ring is very sturdy, and the stones very well set. I definitely recommend this, but maybe find something to totally seal the gold coating more effectively.

I consider myself a genuine lover of vintage fashion & home decor. The Art Deco period is one of my absolute favorites followed by Mid Century.The cut of this ring is called Asscher and was first around in the early 1900s but didn't really become popular until the 1920s. Like all trends, this cut fell out of favor. People wanted a gem with more sparkle like round, princess, and a new cut gaining popularity-crushed ice.If you've never been introduced to this cut before it's important to know that it will *not* dazzle the same way many other cuts do. The more a stone is cut, with more angles, the more reflective it becomes. As the light goes in it bounces around creating a lovely rainbow. This particular cut is not meant to sparkle, but rather, intrigue with it's levelled lines that create a depth as though you are looking into a hall of mirrors or perhaps even a stairwell in a large building. It's beauty lies in the deep details you find within. It's geometric design fit very well in the Art Deco period so it's no surprise that is when it reached absolute fame.I am very happy with my ring set. The gold does match my other 18k jewelry in tone, even my higher end pieces, and looks stunning. My stone is centered properly, as are the other stones in the set. This is my first piece from Tianyu however it should be noted this is a fairly well known moissanite jeweler who specializes in creating creating custom pieces. They've been in business for several decades. This ring does not come with a GRA certificate but I am not worried about that as GRA is actually not a recognized laboratory. While it's nice some manufacturers include a certificate the truth is most of the time it's simply an unnecessary added expense. While I tried to capture the real beauty of this ring my camera could only do so much. The entire ring is the same uniform gold with no flaws.I did need to clean my ring upon arrival. I am unsure though if that was due to the factory or the extreme heat wave in my area. Given Tianyu's reputation in the created gem world I am leaning toward the later. The bag my ring was in was incredibly soft it was so hot from being in the truck for delivery. It was a little cloudy but a quick wash in warm water with dish soap and a soft rag had it gleaming.
