The only bugaboo is that the cover sometimes slips off when handling the laptop To solve that problem, I used two (2) Scotch Removable Mounting Squares, Grey, 1 in. x 1 in.removal stickies, one for the top cover, and one for the bottom. $7.68 for a packet on desertcart, and it has multiple uses.

I have purchased this case for new Dell Laptop 16" model 5640 to protect my laptop from dust and scratches. My laptop stays on my desk all the time, I am not traveling with it, I occasionally may move it from one desk to another. This case works well as "dust cover", and is perfect for my needs. It fits laptop really well. It is easy to install, very durable, high quality, and looks great (I've got black/gray case for my silver laptop). Purchased this case for my new Dell Inspirion 16” 2-in-1 laptop. I personally think it was overpriced but I’m definitely happy with this product. It looks very nice and will provide adequate protection from scratches and nicks. If traveling I would recommend another layer of protection by using a ‘travel’ bag.
