Works just as well as the original. So far so good.

I recently purchased the 40MM/1.6 Inch Long Hair Curling Wand as a replacement for my original Dyson, which has been perpetually on backorder. Unfortunately, this product did not meet my expectations. Firstly, the curling wand gets excessively hot, to the point where it feels like the material is softening with the heat. This is concerning and makes me question its durability and safety. Additionally, it doesn't perform as effectively as my original Dyson. The overall styling process is not as smooth or efficient. I was hopeful it would be a good substitute. However, it fell short in several areas. I appreciate the effort, hence the two stars, but I cannot recommend this curling wand as a reliable replacement for the original Dyson.

A tad stiff to attach to my Dyson to start. I wanted subtle curl at my ends. This delivers! I start hot with mostly dry hair 4 sec. Medium 4 sec, then cold for 10 seconds. I don't bother with the cold shot button as it hurts my hand to hold for so long. It gives me body without the tighter curl of my other wand.

I gave this 4 stars because although it does work well with the airwrap, it doesn't seem to get as hot as the airwrap attachments or quite the same quality. I would still buy this again.

Not as easy to connect to Dyson Aires as an authentic one. Not as powerful…

The Dyson Airwrap has been a game changer for me and the 1.6 long barrel is my favorite. It gives you big, bouncy, full curls and is so easy to use. Highly recommend if you have long hair or extensions!

Comes in plain cardboard box; really difficult to fit into our Dyson dryer; sucker very very poor. Did not know it was not from Dyson (my bad). Do not buy...

A fuir ! Presque aussi cher que l’original et ne s’adapte pas bien sur Dyson. Je le voulais pour la couleur et finalement je vais devoir acheter l’original … donc finalement c’est plutôt cher non ?!

I’m disappointed with this attachment for my Dyson. I have the very first model, which comes with two separate curling barrels that you have to switch depending on the direction you want to curl your hair. That’s why I ordered this one — because it has a convenient switch lever instead. Unfortunately, this attachment is not as powerful as the original ones. And the worst part is that the cool shot / cooling function does not work at all. This is very important for setting the curl. Even 5 minutes later, the attachment is still hot.

Sufficiente

Simple device that clips into Dyson Airwrap and allows creation of curls. Fits into the Dyson very well, and remains in place. Easy to mount/dismount. Works just as it should, love that you can curl in two different directions just by changing a setting. 5 stars.

Lasted about 2 weeks and then stopped sucking the hair up
