To be honest, I hate this time of year. The sun will set next week as early as 4:07pm, which means our nighttime walks are in pitch black. It's annoying. I had a previous head lamp, and it was fine, but this year I wanted to update with something rechargeable. And I got my wish, oh boy. This thing is a MONSTER. It is so awesome. While there are a million options when you click through the light (including ones which I feel like are kind of pointless, like blinking green), I appreciate that it's there. I guess if you were signaling to hikers in the woods or something, you could say yes or no with either solid or blinking? I digress. I thought that the motion activation was also kind of pointless...before I left for a walk. When you're wearing a pair of gloves, the little buttons are a pain, and having to just wave your hand is amazing. Ok onto the light itself. It's SUPER bright. Like stupid bright haha. So bright I wave my hand to shut it off sometimes because I might be blinding drivers. And I LOVE it. It's perfect. TMI but one of my dogs is a poop walker, and it can be a real pain to find it in the leaves. The first click, the bright fill light, is extremely bright and very easy to find anything. Last night, I had it on to take my dogs out before bed, and it's so bright it illuminates my entire backyard, which is great because they usually run into the brush and I don't know what they're into. I only got it this week, so I haven't done a full charge yet, but I can tell you, these are money. Highly recommend.

Provides by far the best spectrum of light of any head torch I have owned. However, the battery does not hold its charge for very long! Overall though, it’s impressive.
