Gives Off Heat
These JKLcom G9 25W Halogen Bulb T4 G9 Halogen Bulbs 25W T4 JCD G9 Bi-pin Base 25 Watt G9 120V 25 are the bulbs which fit my new light fixture requiring 4 bulbs. They are bright and I am pleased with the performance, however, they are hot. My light fixture is a ceiling mount and I asked my husband to straighten the fixture while the lights were on, yikes, the bulbs put out a lot of heat! Enough heat that it would quickly and easily burn your skin if touched. Buyer beware

The price
These light bulbs were $8.00 bucks for just one little bulb at the Home Depot. I couldn't believe they were this expensive. I asked why it was so expensive and I was told; "They were halogens. You should know halogens are very expensive." I neede 6 of them for my bathroom. I keep forgetting to turn off the light when I leave the room in the morning. My halogens, don't last more than maybe 9 to 10 months. Anyway, while online looking for some other things I thought about seeing what they sold for online. What a difference more information can make. I found 8 halogens for 8 or 9 bucks. Wow!
