Review: It's So Easy A Blind Guy Can Do It! - So I'm a blind I.T. guy and I've been refurbishing our old office PC's to donate to some low income visually impaired kids. Doing this a single box at at time was driving me nuts, so I decided to grab a KVM and this ting is super legit easy to use! Not only were the cables super duper easy to figure out and connect, but now I can rock 4 PC's at a time!!! The buttons are awesome too because I can never remember where that stupid scroll lock key is LoL. Anyways it's working super fine for me and my purposes. I expecially love the audio switching because I use a screen reader and being able to use different voices on different machines makes it super easy for me to know which one I'm currently using. For the price and ease of use I'd say it's certainly worth the investment. Let's make sure about a couple of things though, this is only VGA so youre never going to get HD quality out of it. This isn't intended for high end gaming or video streaming it's literally meant to be in a lab for more boring work related stuff. Also there are a bunch of bad reviews about the screen resolution defaulting back to super low quality. This is not a fault in the hardware itself, it's a Windows issue that goes back a couple of generations of Windows. You need to disable hybernation and make some registry tweaks to keep a static resolution. If you ask Google about it there are a bajillion tutorials on it. Oh, yeah and the USB ports make this thing rock so hard core!!! I can dump files from any of the 4 PC's onto a USB drive and it's readily available on all 3 other machines. In this regurbishing project I just put the Windows Media Creation Tool onto the USB, made 3 extra copies of it and now I can just start a whole new Windows install 4 PC's at a time. I literally just set it and orget it oL... I noticed one persons review that said 2 out of 2 purchased died after a year, but even if you pay $25 every year for this kind of gadget it's still a 5 star device. I've been doing I.T. work for over 20 years now and if this blind guy can open the box, plug everything in and start refurbishing 4 PC's at a time in less than 30 minutes I can promise it's worth every cent of it. I've used enterprise KVM switches that are nowhere near as responsive and are much more of a pain in the you know what... Review: Not the Most Reliable - I got this since I had three computers that I wanted to use KVM switch for. I was able to connect two at a time. The third computer was always hit and a miss. Sometimes, it worked, but many times it did not. Another major issue was that there is no keyboard shortcuts to switch between the computers, which was a big bummer, since my KVM was on the back of the monitor, which made it difficult to switch. I contacted the support email that was provided in the document booklet that was in the package. I am yet to receive any response from their technical support. Stay Away from this one.

Great price and works as designed
This is review for 2 port VGA KVM Switch. Purchased this product to allow easy switching use of second monitor between laptop and PC. It does what it was designed to do. Easy to setup and it's just plug and play. Switch slides around with all the cables going into it. Ideally, you would want the switch somewhere you can access it easily but doesn't look ugly with all the wires going in different directions. Personally, I would rather have a bigger nice look box then a small one not having a good appearance.

easy to use, works perfectly
super easy to use -- just plug n play. The ports seem sturdy. I wish the switch button had its own lead, but I knew the structure when I got it so I can't blame the product.

USB Cable is way too short for some laptops
It probably works fine, but you need to buy some USB Male/Female extension leads as most laptops have the USB too far away from the VGA port. I am trying to use it for 3-laptops and all of them have the USB ports on the right side and the VGA on the left. See pic Local big-box store wants $13 each for USB extensions. That's $52 for 4 cables. Plus, audio cables do not have a 2-to-1 adapter for laptops with only a single Audio/Mic port.

good product
overall I like the product. I have been using it for more than half year. The seller could do a better job by letting customer know that one of the USB is intended for power instead of data.

I'm thinking that this particular device is defective and would like to try another one if I can the Seller ...
The device is not working consistently. Constantly restarting the computers to get the device working. I have tried reaching out to return the device with no communication. I'm thinking that this particular device is defective and would like to try another one if I can the Seller will return some type of communication.

It works perfectly
Works exactly the way it supposed to. Sometimes some delay but I don’t mind.
