Just received this floor mat. It is exactly what it claims to be. In retrospect I wish I'd gotten a slightly larger one but that's on me. It was rolled very tightly but seems to be relaxing to be flat just fine.

I was debating to get a square one or the "T" shaped one and decided on this. It was the right choice and works great on my new hardwood floors. It did take a couple days to flatten out but after putting some books on it it is flat and hasnt moved like some people suggested. I wonder if they installed their upside down?

Bought the clear mat to put under my desk on a hardwood floor. I don't think it's necessarily cheap, it's relatively thick plastic and protects the floor as expected, but it doesn't seem to grip the floor at all. It constantly shifts and bunches up and even after putting the 2 front edges under the legs of my computer desk, it somehow still shifts or folds constantly. Maybe on rug it would be great, but for hardwood I need to buy another mat and I'm going to put this under the dog kennel instead.

I am so glad I ordered this product. It looks great and is pretty much invisible. It is protecting my floor from the chair's rollers. Highly recommended.

this is cheap and it feels cheap - you get what you pay for - not a bad buy for what you pay but I would recommend spending more money on something less flimsy that doesn't bunch up when you roll over it.

So functional and durable. My new chairs (which I bought on Amazon) glide across the floor. Its thin, so there are no bumps to go over at the edges.

The material is thin. Foe me and my purposes that was good. Package came in a roll. Took 2 days to straighten but it is flat now.No complaints...

Ok, I rarely write review of products, but felt that anyone serious about purchasing a floor mat like this one should be aware of a few things. I bought this mat to use over vinyl plank flooring in my home office. Read the reviews, thought it looked like a decent product. The mat is very flimsy. They say anti-slip...what a joke! My vinyl planks are a premium grade product with a rough grain surface to mimic wood so the mat has decent contact. I work at my desk all day. I would say that I averaged having to reposition the mat at least 5 times a day. The mat puckered up as I repositioned my chair, slid backward and forward, and even rotated some causing it to bunch up at corners where it hit adjacent objects like my desk legs or computer tower. The mat is a joke. I had a family emergency and I was not able to deal with the return before the 30 day return window so I am stuck with it. A week ago, I just couldn't' t stand dealing with the garbage floor mat any longer and ordered a new one from American Floor Mats as I have purchased from them before for heavy duty mats on a carpet floor. Ok, seriously, there is no comparison between them. The one from American Floor mats cost me twice as much. $95 vs $45, but I will tell you that I could probably log the time spent repositioning the mat against my hourly wage and cover the difference in cost within a month. The new mat is thicker, stiffer, textured on both sides, and I have not had to reposition it in 3 days since I laid it down. I know for a fact that it is providing better protection to the flooring because the impact resistance is so much better. In my opinion, I would not even consider purchasing this inferior mat. Mat is good. I unrolled it and left it for about 24 hours for it to flatten and open up. Chair slides easily on it with no issues. Its clear so it doesnt stand out which is good. The mat doesnt seem to slide around on the wooden floor either.

Je me suis rendu compte que les roues de ma chaise habimaient : le parquet en bois massif fait des echardes au niveau du passage des roues.J'ai donc acheté cette protection, elle est suffisamment grande pour que la chaise tienne et roule de droite à gauche.Elle protège le parquet et on le voit par transparence. Il faut mettre le côté granuleux vers le haut pour le les roues "accrochent" . Ce n'est pas invisible mais c'est mieux que des echardes. 😉Sur la moquette l'avantage est que la chaise roule plus facilement.
