Warner Bros Games Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition (Import)

Loved Arkham Asylum so I knew I couldn't go wrong with this, everything is simply better than the first game, harder too. the bonus content is well worth the extra bit of cash. The game can be a bit overwhelming at first but once you get in the flow and get used to beating the day lights out of all the cronies it becomes seriously fun, you can roam and explore as you wish to complete the Riddler's challenges or get familiar with the area or complete the side and sstory missions. Very sandbox with enough direction to keep you interested. Absolutely worth a buy.

All DLC ever made for Arkham City! A free downloadable movie! It just can`t get better! But, when I received the game, I saw it was a `region 1` version!! I was scared that it would not work on my PS3 (Europe) because of the region block! However THE PLAYSTATION 3 IS REGION FREE!!! (for 98% of all games) SO THIS GAME WILL WORK ON AN EUROPEAN PS3!

It's a great game to play. If you love the dark atmosphere of gotham If you are familiar with the DC caracter's universe. Many of his foes are there: Joker, Riddler, Two-face, Poison Ivy, Bane, Mr Freeze plus you can play with Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing!

Batman Arkham city was the game of 2011 and I would defiantly recommend it to any batman fans or any fans of sandbox games in general.

This was brought for my brother so can't make a personal review but its what he asked for and he seems quite happy with it, it arrived within a couple of days so overall good service :)

i caint fault it as it a great game i like harley quinn and ivy and batgirl.its diffcult playing it but it takes skill and mind to slove this great game

This isn't just a good superhero game it's a brilliant game full stop. A must play for any gaming fans and even more so if a batman fan

On the 7th generation, I own all Batman: Arkham games, but this seems to be the pinnacle of Batman in gaming. It's epic story brings us deep into the heart of Gotham, uncovering the mystery behind protocol 10 and who is truly behind it. Moving forward with the innovative gameplay that made Batman: Arkham Asylum so iconic, Arkham City decides to make both Predator Mode and Combat even more fast-paced. This time around, Batman can counter multiple enemies, using various animations each time it occurs. Not only that but there are now multiple ways to enter combat, using your cape to stun people and then to enter a beatdown, or to use your gadgets as Quicktime gadgets to be used mid-combat. It all comes together to be quick, deep, addicting, and an engrossing form of combat that I believe to be the best in gaming. The Predator mode remains mostly unchanged, apart from newer takedown methods and an increased variety of opportunities due to the amount of gadgets in your arsenal. The real game-changer lies within the open world, which, however small, is one of the most interesting worlds I have had the privilege to explore as a gamer. The world consists of a locked off portion of Gotham City which has been filled with criminals so they can partake in their own business. Because of this, the city is filled with thugs which you can choose to be a up at your own pleasure. Swooping down from above while gliding (which is a new gameplay feature present in Arkham City, due to the expanded setting) and immediately engaging in a fistfight against ten prisoners feels better than one might expect. Apart from this there also many super villains lurking in the city, which Batman can at anytime battle against (or at least discover their hideout). It feels wonderfully organic, and is a step to the right direction in having the player feel like Batman. Perched on a gargoyle, surveying the city below is an astounding feeling. The other major element of the game is the story, which while as several twists and turns and never becomes boring, I did find it to be rather short, at least in what happened. When looking upon the game, it feels that events occurred to simply pad the game out; these events weren't by any means, but if even one wasn't there, than the game would have been a few hours shorter. Because of this, I highly suggest to play the main story while inserting a few side missions now and then, as it does make the game MUCH more enjoyable. All in all, Batman: Arkham City is a masterclass of gameplay, and has gorgeous visuals to almost distract from a wonderfully detailed and easter egg-filled world. It's story is exciting at many points, and put together it creates a video game worthy of any player. 9.5/10

Pas obligé d'être un fan de Batman pour apprécier cet excellent jeu. Les graphiques sont beaux (autant visuellement que techniquement), l'histoire est envoutante, le système de combat est génial, le "voice-acting" nous fais frissonner de nostalgie (Note: ce sont les voix des acteurs originaux de la série animé de Batman, autant en FR qu'en EN), beaucoup de valeur de rejouabilité, quête principale peut durer jusqu'à 15h sans compter les nombreuses missions secondaires (qui rajoute au moins une dizaine d'heure, voir plus). En plus d'y avoir tous les contenus téléchargeable déjà installé sur le disque, il est difficile de trouver des points faibles à ce fabuleux jeux. Si je me force, je peux dire que les "boss" sont relativement facile à combattre et que les temps de chargement peuvent quelques fois être long. À acheter absulument! PS: Afin de suivre l'histoire, je vous conseille également de jouer au titre précédent: Arkham Asylum

今回はＤＬ目当てで購入してみました。ちなみに北米版で、もちろん日本語字幕になっております。通常版との違いはキャットウーマン、ロビン、ナイトウィングそして、ハーレー・クィンの復讐までこの一本で遊べます。私の場合目当てはハーレー・クィンの復讐だったんですが少し短かったです。トロフィー集めながら、やっていても3時間かかりませんでした。中身の方はバットマンとロビンを交互に操作できる点、新しい敵がちらほら。いつも通りのコンバットとプレデター構成のステージを進めていくものです。今回ロビンを初めて操作したのですが、基本バットマンとあまり変わりません。ただ技が全然違うので斬新でした。立ち回りはほとんど一緒です。そして、バットマンと言えば、キャンペーンがあります。 ＧＯＴＹ版では、キャットウーマン、ロビン、ナイトウィングまでキャンペーン（コンバット＆プレデター）で遊ぶことができます。ただ、初めからキャンペーンのマップ全てで遊ぶことはできません。バットマンの本編でリドラーのトロフィーやら集めるとマップが解除されるので初めてやる方は要注意です。流れとしてはバットマンの本編を進めながらリドラーのトロフィーやらを集めていくといいと思います。そしたら解除されます。 とりあえずコンバット（上級）まで全キャラ終わったのですが、ガジェットから技まで全部違うので最初は少し戸惑いました。ボタンの配置はバットマンとあまり変わりません。このゲーム、コンボをつなげるだけなら簡単なのですが、コンボの中に技を色々いれていくとなると立ち回りを考えなくてはいけませんので少し難しくなります。例えば大勢の囚人に囲まれてるとき、ある技はあまり効果が無いとか、今ここでこの技をつかうとコンボが途切れてしまうとか。その思考錯誤がコンボの一瞬一瞬頭をよぎるので、本当バトルが飽きないです。よくこんな戦闘システム考えたなと思います。 今回一つ思ったのが、コンバットチャレンジがコンボだけでなんとかなってしまうということ。次回作は、コンボだけでなくパーフェクトフリーフローを狙わないとメダルをとれないとかだと最高ですね。ＧＯＴＹでただけあって最高のゲームなのでまだの人は一度やってみてはいかがでしょうか？いいゲーム無いかなーと探してる人がいたら強くおすすめします。アクション性とボリュームが大変詰め込まれております。
