The rendering of the image is okay but a lot of the detail has been lost by the need to pixelate into a smaller size but when worked up and viewed from a distance it is easy to tell what the image is.The image is created by placing 1 of 24 colours of drill onto the adhesive coated pre-printed canvas. The drills themselves are in heatsealed plastic bags that are each labelled with the kit number and the colour number. You then match the colour number with the key and that gives you the icon you need to match it to the colour. All the colours match with DMC numbers and these are noted on the key. Even in their bags the drills have a good sparkle and will look even better once light moves across them.All the tools you need to work the image come included in the pack. This makes it a great starter set as you can have a go at the hobby without needing to buy any additional bits and pieces to get you started. There are even little ziploc baggies included for you to store any excess drills.

Some of the diamond painting kits are a bit more expensive and you just get the bare essentials, a pen, a smalll green diamonte tray a pen or two and wax strip for it.This one is pretty outstanding value considering what you get. The green tray is a bit bigger than the normal one you get, the grooves are more defined so you can fix the decals quicker. It also has an opening at the end (most standard trays don't) to help pour the decals back into the bag if unused or finishing for the night.Two pens, headers and a cushion for your finger incase you are doing these for a long period at one time, you usually have to buy these separately. You also get a few empty sealable bags for the diamonte/decals.The picture itself is stunning, I love autumn/animals so this is just perfect 5/5.
