The media could not be loaded.  As a long-time user of standard salt and pepper shakers, I was intrigued when this set appeared on my Amazon Vine list and decided to give them a try. After a few days of use, I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed! These grinders incorporate all the features you'd anticipate from high-quality shakers—adjustable grinding settings, easy refill options, and even a light at the bottom to guide you during seasoning. They dispense salt and pepper effortlessly at the simple press of a button. Each grinder is equipped with a cap at the bottom to prevent any spillage, and in line with the growing popularity of USB-C cables, they can be easily charged—a convenient feature that eliminates the need for constant AA battery replacements.To provide a transparent account of my experience, I must mention that upon their initial arrival, one of the grinders' motors was non-functional. However, obtaining a replacement set was an incredibly simple and straightforward process. In less than 24 hours, a brand-new set was delivered to my doorstep, with both units functioning perfectly.Acknowledging that hardware failures can occasionally occur, if I discount the initial faulty grinder and base my review solely on the replacement unit, I can confidently declare these grinders to be exceptional! If you're in the market for an electric salt and pepper grinder set, I strongly recommend considering this one!

Electric grinder! One-handed operation! Even people with weak hands can easily use these! Make fresh, cooking sized quantities. Wider caulk openings are also a refreshing improvement.

I've been half-@$$ed looking for a new pepper grinder for a while, but couldn't settle on what I wanted. Nice clean stainless? Classic wood? Splurge on a bronze rotary? I wasn't thinking too hard about electric until the last time I made a bunch of burgers and wow wow wow would it have been nice to do that one handed (one clean hand for salt and pepper, one hand to turn the patties over to do the other side). So electric landed on the radar.We use rechargeable batteries almost exclusively in this household, but six (!!!) of them in most of the battery grinders just seemed excessive, and those things don't have an unlimited lifespan (especially the Amazon basics ones that we use because you can get a LOT at reasonable prices). I also don't want to tie up six of my batteries or buy any more. It's fine right now, but come Christmas season, the batteries are mostly spoken for.This one is USB rechargeable. It doesn't come with a brick, so to get it up and running I just plugged it into the phone charger for a while. Long-term we're obviously going to want something to keep it in the kitchen, so I'm going to have to dig one out or change out the outlet to one with a USB plug. Either way, it's fine by me, because if everything that charges USB comes with a brick, that's a LOT LOT LOT of unnecessary electronic waste. I'm assuming anybody buying a USB rechargeable pepper mill has a drawer full of bricks someplace dating back to the aughts (at least).It's easy to fill. This isn't my first rodeo with pepper mills, and some of them are ANNOYING and peppercorns, for the record, are round, which means they don't just fall down if you miss, they roll all over creation. These have good sized openings and I didn't spill a bit. No chasing tiny little balls to every corner of the kitchen.And now - just point and shoot. Literally. Point it where you want the pepper, press the button, and that's it. The grind is adjustable on the bottom - without disassembling the mill, and there's also a cap on the bottom so you don't leave a messy trail all over your white tablecloth.Only time - a good chunk of time - will tell if the batteries hold up to repeated charge/discharge cycles, but unless they fail sooner than expected, I am very happy with this purchase. I'd be happier if the battery were replaceable when it does fail. Everything eventually does, and I hate that this will be trash when that happens. The most I'd deduct for that is half a star, which still rounds to five.As of right now, absolutely recommend.EDIT: Still absolutely recommend. I've been using this daily and have only just now realized there's a little light that comes on when you're grinding so you can see where the pepper goes. It's the little things - LOL.

We have been using manual salt and pepper mills/grinders for years. The salt mills work ok but the pepper mills are ALWAYS tedious - muscle fatigue and inconsistent grind quality. We use a lot of black pepper in our cooking (see "tedious" above) and LOVE the taste of fresh-ground black pepper so when I saw this "WITOP Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder Set" I decided to give it a try. Right out of the box, both the salt and pepper mills were fully charged and ready to go. All I had to do was add some Himalayan pink salt (I know, I know...) to one mill and some Tellicherry black peppercorns to the other mill and we were ready to try them out. The mills are actually quite stylish and are very sensibly engineered. The top compartment has the motor and battery in it with the charging port on the top. The bottom compartment holds the salt or pepper in a see-thru compartment with the grinder mechanism below that. The two compartments easily separated with a gentle twist and pull then I filled the bottoms with salt or pepper. Re-assembling was a piece of cake: I aligned the small arrow on the top compartment with the also-small unlock icon on the bottom compartment then gave it a gentle push and twist until the arrow was aligned with the lock icon - easy-peasy! I set the grind via the adjusting wingnut-like part on the bottom of the mill while grinding first salt then pepper over a white bowl until I had the size I wanted. The salt mill really produces a LOT in a very short time and the consistency was absolutely perfect! The pepper mill also produces a lot but we use a LOT so we were surprised at how much it ground in a short period of time with an ABSOLUTELY delightful, uniform consistency! We have used the two mills at every meal both in the kitchen and at the table and neither mill has shown any signs of the battery getting low. My wife loves the look of the mills so we leave them on the dining table. The bottom line: We absolutely LOVE our "WITOP Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder Set" and HIGHLY recommend them for anyone. I can even see them being used in a professional kitchen.
