Battery broken after 3 month
Vacuum is ok but 1 battery is completely broken and the other one is around 50% capacity when fully charged after only 3 month. Vacuum clogs easily.

Impressed and excellent value
The corded Miele died precisely on its 5th birthday (motor started smoking and then died). Rather annoyed as it was fairly pricey (and still is) but, hey-ho. I had been eying the cordless stick vacs for a while (have had a couple of Dyson handhelds over the years) but wasn't too sure whether they'd manage the daily punishment. Having had, and still own, a number of Bosh/Siemens appliances I decided to take advantage of an offer on this vacuum cleaner which made it a bargain (half of the cost to replace the Miele); even in the event that I didn't like it too much and decided to give it to one of the kids. To cut to the chase: It's quite excellent. Great suction, aided by the power brush, and even on 'eco' setting is more than adequate for daily cleaning. In this mode it will cover 8 medium/large rooms (mix of wood/tiles and carpet) and still have 2 bars of the battery left (obviously the bars are just indicative and will 'cliff-edge' flip between charge levels). I initially tried 'auto' (which seems to alternate between 'eco' and 'turbo' settings, depending on the surface friction) and this ran out in the 10th area. The components are easily interchangeable and the bin/receptacle is easy enough to empty (I think this procedure could be slightly improved - but it's fine once you get the hang of it). Suction-wise (to return to the important bit) I am very impressed - it's at least as good as its corded, powerful, predecessor - probably better. It is also quieter and far more manoeuvrable. It comes with two 18v 3Amp batteries and a fast charger (40 mins or so from empty). When connected to the docking station (see pic) it trickle charges - and this will take, let's say, overnight to charge an empty battery (I haven't bothered checking- it's full in the morning) - to top up from the daily clean it takes about 3 hours to trickle-fill from two bars. In summary - I'm very pleased with this new bit of domestic equipment. It's well-designed and of good (Bosh) quality. I have bought the Mini Turbo Nozzle just for the convenience of doing the stairs and furniture, but it does come with a nice array of accessories.

After 2+ years - it is not perfect, but it's quite good!
First of all I was looking for something convenient, without cables, in order to pick it up quickly and clean the mess in the kitchen, living room & ground floor in general, without waiting for a "dedicated day cleanup". Glad that my in depth research brought to this one, it definitely does the job, but it's not all rainbow and ponies as advertising says, so here is honest, almost daily use review after 2+years of usage: GOOD STUFF: 1. Performance (hard floors): Indeed, the rotating brush and turbo setting helps to reliably pick up both larger trash and dust from the hard floors. You can tell this for sure because of incorporated LED light that illuminates everything in front so well that you won't see it without this strong sight light. Once it's on, you might get surprised how much more stuff is on the floor that was not visible - and it's all sucked in. Quite happy with edge pick up too. 2. Batteries: They are "All 18 V" batteries which is absolutely brilliant and here is how : having easily swappable batteries that are easy to purchase + work for other bosch tools too, which means you should not be afraid that once the battery (ies) die - you can put the whole vacuum into the bin. No, in this regard this Bosch vacuum has a big advantage over most of the competition. Plus having two batteries is another big win. With two you can definitely do some cleaning! In fairness you can do a quick, not in depth clean on hard floors on a single battery, which on Turbo might run 10-20 mins. Why the range? Keep in mind, as any batteries they lose capacity in time. But again, because you can easily buy new ones + of even larger capacity if you want - that's amazing flexibility. 3. Convenience: - Easily detachable electrified brush makes it a quite light and convenient hover to reach any corners and collect spider web - Couple essential but convenient accessories. The long and narrow + flexible extension is super helpful for hard to reach spaces. I used it to clean even crevices in the car that were simple not accessible for years. Btw the whole vacuum is very good for the car too. - You can easily bend the metal pipe through a special plastic connector in the middle in order to make it 90 degree and more (?) convenient for example under the furniture. In fairness and in practice - this is very questionable functionality. For example under the beds you better lay down as otherwise you don't see + if you bend the pipe - it becomes short so you need to bend your back now in order to reach under something that is not tall, again like a bed for example :) So basically in my opinion it would be perfectly usable without this feature, but well - let it be. - Noise is actually good for a vacuum. It's definitely not quiet especially in Turbo mode, but it's quieter and in my opinion less annoying sound than a corded vacuum. 4. Value for money. I bought it a lot more expensive 2 + years ago, I think even on discount and was surprised to see it now a lot cheaper than it was with apparently no discounts. A rare sight nowadays. I'd say it does worth it even for my price - but for the current one it is a solid buy in my opinion. Just make sure you get to know the not so good things below. NOT SO GOOD / TO NOTE: 1. Battery life. I spoke on it, but to let you know that 80 mins claimed is just on new batteries, two of them and just in eco mode. Since in eco mode it is simply unusable, it's too weak to pick up anything maybe except some dust from the curtains - so I consider this claim despite lab realistic - simply not relevant in real life, thus pure marketing :) 2. Eco / Auto / Turbo modes. Bosch claims it is as strong as corded vacuum with an *. Of course with an * :) It's only in Turbo mode, on hard floors and with crevices :)) So simply saying guys, no, it's not as strong as a corded, but the turbo mode + brush helps it pick up stuff quite well from the hard floors. Just being fully honest. To summarise on above, the Auto mode also kinda works ok, but Turbo is your main cleaning mode. Eco - is simply there to be able to claim that it can run for up to 80 minutes, again on two batteries - but for cleaning purposes it is unusable. 3. Cleaning the container. Especially sad that the claim says "Emptying your dust container and filter should be hygienic and easy to do". The problem is that opening the plastic container itself and emptying is really easy to do, BUT it's not the only thing you need to empty! Once you rotate the mechanism to clean the filter, you need to take it out of the metal housing - and there is the problem - the filter itself accumulates lots of dust in the crevices and it does not easily fall out of there! What you have to do is to lightly bang the filter on the housing to release the dust - but it creates literally a cloud of fine dust around you. So first it's not so hygienic anymore and second it's no point to do it inside the house as you will spread dust everywhere. Maybe you can skip this part with filter and not clean it up every time, but you can't skip it for too long as lots of dust accumulate there quickly. Disappointed in this regard in design to be honest as it impacts a lot the convenience. I'd probably put a 5 star otherwise. 4. Anti hair tangle This is very very questionable. About 1 year in I had to dismantle the brush, which is a long and not so easy process in order to clean it up exactly from hair. Upon dismantling it I could see the design in sense of anti tangling is fair from brilliant diplomatically saying. You can manually clean it up from the brush - but it is not as efficient as hair wraps up on the edges of the brush that are hard to reach. This makes the brush rotate much slower and very slow at times (you can hear it) and correspondingly it impacts a lot the cleaning performance. It might actually impact the battery life too as motor has to work extra under load. 5. It's not for carpets. I have short pile carpets and still guys - because of the brush this vacuum really struggles on carpets. If in one direction the brush still spins ok, then in other it really struggles. Dunno, maybe on some medium pile soft carpets it will work okaish, but I doubt. I just keep it really for the hard floors guys and as paradoxal as it sounds - it's not for carpets in my opinion, keep this in mind to avoid being disappointed. My Conclusion: Might sound like a lot of disadvantages huh?)) They are a few defo and the cleaning ones are no joke, but keep in mind - you will have them with most of the competition too. Overall, I still consider this a good device that wins on convenience of quickly picking up all the visible stuff from the hard floors + spiderweb everywhere + car + batteries, so flexibility in general. I don't regret getting one and it's now even cheaper - deflationary device haha. Huh, took me some time to share it all but I hope it helps friends! Cheers!

Light on weight tough on dust and dirt.
I really like this vacuum cleaner, it is light when using it or carrying up and down stairs. The battery lasts a reasonable time, however, I bought the machine with two batteries so I always one battery fully charged ready if the battery should run out which hasn’t happened yet. I also like the easiness of turning the machine into a hand held cleaner especially for stairs it’s just a couple of clicks. I also like having a bag less machine when it’s so easy to empty the container. The best thing of all this machine really does what it has been designed to do it’s a great cleaner. ,

Disappointed
Disappointed that it didn't meet expectations, but expectations were high. I've had the product 2 weeks, Has a tendency to block easily and it also feels like the filter gets full very easily rather than passing the dust into the waste collection area. When its blocked, it then spits back the dust it collected. Then the filter is not so easy to clean, I'm logging on to buy a new filter but they dont seem readily available from the manufacturer, only substitute non branded parts. I Expected a filter to last a lot longer than 2 weeks. The soft trap between the collection waste area and the spout also tends to go the wrong way and need to be fiddled with to get it right. As per the video, when the filter is full full it gets blocked and suction is non existent, hence thinking I need to replace it already. To remove the dust from the filter itself, it gets in the air so best doing this outside. Ideally you'd put it under water to remove but the unit says dont do that. So factor in filters to the cheaper cost of this unit. On the good side though, the reason i bought it was the ability to swap out batteries and use the same battery as my drill. I also like the long flexible straight bit which is perfect for cleaning under and around your car seat. So all and all, and while the video does show lack of suction at times and it needs to be fiddled with a lot (maybe i just got a bad filter on my new one - i hope) I do like the unit because of the batteries being an innovative idea and the accessories to make cleaning the car easy.
