It is loud and definitely hurts ears, the pin is easy to pull and put back in, it's cute, soft and doesn't have a smell. It also comes with an app that sets up an emergency alert to a phone number of your choosing when you pull the pin. I feel so much safer walking home at night now. I actually wanted a stun gun or pepper spray, but they are illegal in my state. But I can't not have something for self defense on me, I'm just a 5ft tall 90lbs college girl living in a city. Some of my friends have been assaulted already and I want to be prepared just in case it happens to me. This was next best thing to a stun gun and I'm so glad I got it. I attached my keys and put them in my pocket so the dolphin sticks out and is ready in case I need to use it.

I have had this dolphin for 2 almost 3 years now. It works great, and is extremely loud. No one can tell what it is which is nice. Down side to it is if you pull the string it’s extremely hard to push it back in to shut it up. It’s so loud your ears are on fire when it does get pulled out and your trying awkwardly to put it back inside the dolphin. Other downside it’s big... it’s on my keychain and always gets in the way. It is just really large. I wish it was smaller. For the purpose of it, it works great mine I have had almost 3 years and still works great. Just be aware of how big it is, and your purse it will get stuck. Also the app I deleted off my phone because you have to pay a fee for it. I actually forgot it came with a app till I just went on here to write a review.

It doesn't even work! I pulled out the pin to see if it worked. No alarm sounded, not even a peep! I went to put the pin back in, and I can't get it into the hole. it goes into the hold of the furry part, but the square box inside gets turned around and turned around, I can't feel where the hole is supposed to be in that box! What am I supposed to do now?

So I had to test this out just to see how loud it really was.It’s loud, I was afraid someone was going to call the police, I couldn’t shut it off fast enough. It made my ears ring for sure. I’ve never heard such a loud and shrill sound before. It will be sure to upset someone.The only hint I have the most to harp on that could be considered good or bad is how difficult it is to put the pin back in. The device that houses it is not anchored to the actual fabric that makes up the little stuffie. This is also good because it means a Predator can’t easily disable the device. So if you commit to buying don’t pull the pin out unless is a situation that calls for it.

The dolphin is cute and works but when I bought it I thought I could use the app to track where the dolphin was. That’s not the case. The app is something completely different and only uses the gps on a phone. So I’d have to give my daughter the dolphin and then instal the app on her phone for her to use separately. I’m disappointed that the gps does not work through the dolphin.
