I think to be fair, you have to remember that every pair of trousers and thus every pocket, are not the same size and shape. I fitted these pockets to 2 pairs of shorts as each pair of shorts had one pocket with holes in. I found them to stick very well following the instructions but also ensuring that I ironed over each pocket's adhesive strip several times. After letting them cool, I then cut the old material out as per instructions and had no problems other than each pocket's seam failed virtually immediately in the same place (the pointy corner). Yes, they probably won't fit your existing pocket exactly but I found them easy to 'make-do' with a little bit of patience and fiddling with them over the existing pockets - this was only seconds and not minutes. With the seams failing and the pockets firmly stuck, I could not afford to throw 2 pairs of shorts so I re-sewed the seams by hand. This was an inconvenience and should not have happened, however, a few minutes on chat with Amazon CS and I was given a full refund. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work fine but install with care *by R***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 January 2016* These seem to be working OK. They fixed the worn out pockets in my work jeans which have since been washed several times. However I followed the "installation" instructions carefully (very hot iron with a cloth) but still ended up with some residue (burnt glue?) on the iron which was difficult to remove without damage to the sole. You may want to use a thicker cloth (or use two) to protect your iron and don't expect to reuse that cloth afterwards. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really easy repair for suit pockets *by C***C on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 January 2016* I wasn't sure if these existed, but they were just what I was looking for.Very simple to fit - even for a bloke! Only word of advice is to be very careful trimming the excess material from the old pocket.
