Excellent Indoor Grill
Quality construction, rugged heating element. No provision for no smoke, but it doesn’t make much. Wonderful winter grilled steaks and pork chops. Cleans up easily in the dishwasher. Hard to clean the ribbed plate by hand. The cover keeps all of the splatter down and not all over everything. The cover comes off so easy and works so well.

Awesome!
This was ordered on a whim as I need to have a healthier way of cooking/grilling, without having to freeze outside in the winter. So far it is AWESOME! I've done smash burgers on the flat grill and Chicken on the grill plate. Both were outstanding! Quick cook time. Great taste. Easy to use AND clean! Small and manageable, without being too small.

Indoor Grilling Masterpiece
I've became a big fan of the Ninja Sizzle Griddle and Indoor Grill, model GR101, very fast, and I can confidently say it's a game-changer for indoor cooking. This 14'' electric grill, with its versatile design, makes it possible to enjoy grilled meals year-round any time with results that rival my summertime outdoor grill surprisingly. Performance: The steak and hamburgers I've cooked on this Ninja Sizzle have turned out remarkably well, with beautiful char marks and juicy interiors - just like you'd get on an outdoor grill. The 500°F max heat allows for that perfect sear, and the edge-to-edge cooking ensures there are no cold spots, delivering even cooking across the entire plate. Whether it's steak, burgers, or salmon, the flavors are locked in, and the textures are spot-on. Versatility: The ability to switch between grilling and griddling with the interchangeable plates is fantastic. I've made everything from pancakes for breakfast to fajita veggies for dinner, all with the convenience of indoor cooking. The griddle plate is perfect for those mornings when you crave a stack of pancakes, and the non-stick surface makes cooking eggs or bacon a breeze. Ease of Use: It's incredibly straightforward to operate with no complicated settings. The smokeless design is a lifesaver, especially in apartments or smaller homes where smoke can be an issue. I've grilled without setting off any smoke alarms, which is a testament to its low-smoke technology. Clean Up: One of my favorite features is how easy it is to clean. The grill/ griddle and top lid are dishwasher-safe components means you can spend more time enjoying my meal and less time cleaning up if need to, But I usually hand wash the parts they clean easy in the sink. The non-stick coating prevents food from sticking, which simplifies the post-cooking cleanup even further. Design: The silver finish looks modern and fits well with any kitchen decor. The size is just right for family meals or small gatherings, accommodating up to six burgers or a few steaks or serval pancakes at once. My only note would be that, like any electric grill, you need to ensure your outlet can handle the 1800W power draw, but this is a minor consideration given the overall performance. In summary, the Ninja Sizzle GR101 has brought the joy of grilling indoors with results that are surprisingly similar to my outdoor summer grilling. If you're looking to grill without waiting for warm weather or want a versatile kitchen appliance, this is definitely worth the investment. Highly recommended for anyone who loves grilled food but wants the ease and convenience of indoor cooking. And even if some things burn onto the surface if you are not carful it is easy to clean with dawn soap and a non abrasive scrubber. I've used a few different ones on mine dozens of times to get the cleaning done fast and it doesn't scratch the surface of the grill or griddle palates.

Amazing product
Love This! of all my Ninja products, This is one of my favorites. Great job, so easy to switch plates from griddle to grill, and extremely easy to clean. Size is perfect for us (2 seniors). Prefer this one over my Blackstone E griddle...gave it to our daughter

Perfect Grill
Great indoor grill overall! Heats up fast and cooks food evenly. The 14” size is perfect and it’s easy to clean. Only reason I gave 4 stars is I wish the cord was a little longer / or it had slightly more temperature control, but still a really good buy and I use it often.

Low profile and easy to clean
I'm comparing this grill against the Hamilton Beach Searing Grill https://www.amazon.com/Hamilton-Beach-25361-Removable-Stainless/dp/B00KLVY3TW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=10I0LLUIICUYZ&keywords=hamilton+beach+grill&qid=1700351862&sprefix=hamilton+beach+grill%2Caps%2C102&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1. I had the HB for 3 years, but the dial recently broke and I couldn't control the temp anymore. I loved the HB and planned on buying the same one again, but I am also a big Ninja fan, and came across this grill, so I thought I'd try it out. HB: About $70 Ninja: About $120 HB: low profile, which I loved Ninja: extremely low profile, which is even better HB: removable, windowed, covered lid Ninja: removable, vented lid HB: temperature dial goes up to 450F, light indicates when temperature is reached Ninja: temperature dial up to 500F, light indicates power only HB: open grates, allowing grease to drain into pan below, which I lined with aluminum foil to easily dispose Ninja: closed "grate", most of the grease drains to a ditch at the front of the grill. HB: I put the lid and the grate into the dishwasher and it held up great. The grate was tougher to clean and did require a soft brush to scrub stuck, cooked-on food. The grease pan is large, removes, and is very easy to clean. I stuck in the dishwasher. Grease splatters on the insides walls of the frame and needs to be cleaned by hand. It's hard to get it all. Ninja: lid has lots of little vent holes. It seemed to clean by hand ok, but is also dishwasher safe, which is good. Grate has a very smooth surface, making it easy to wipe down. I don't think you are supposed to put it in the dishwasher to protect the nonstick, but I probably will at some point. It doesn't look like it will easily flake. The grate and the grease catcher are all one piece. The benefit to this is that all the splatters are contained, keeping the base pretty unscathed from splatters HB: one grill plate Ninja: the GR101 model includes a second interchangeable griddle plate. The grate size is about the same for both grills, but I feel like the heating elements cover more surface area on the Ninja. The heating element is enclosed on the bottom of the grate on the HB, and if I recall circles the periphery. The Ninja has heat elements that completely covers the bottom and exposes more of the grill to heat. Both easily fit 4 large hamburgers on the grill. I'm on the fence about the Ninja lid. That's going to take time to determine if a vented lid is problematic, or works as well as a fully covered lid. Ninja Pros: ~i like that it has both a griddle and a grill plate. For me that is a space saver. ~The Ninja potentially gets hotter for quicker sear. ~The Ninja cleans up more completely ~The very low profile. I like to be able to put it away easily, and I like that it doesn't take up all the counter space when I'm cooking ~cooks food really well and has great grill marks ~solid and well made HP pros ~the open grate really does a better job of draining the grease off your food (i.e. hamburgers) ~less expensive ~full lid coverage with viewing window ~easy to handle and clean Ninja cons ~honestly, I'm really surprised Ninja didn't include the feature for the indicator light to cycle on and off when the grate temperature is reached. The instructions are to heat for 7 minutes, and, i guess assume it's hot enough. I think this was a poor design decision. It's not a huge deal to add, but a really beneficial feature to have. It's what clued me in that my HB was broken. ~I'm on the fence about the closed grate. It definitely makes cleaning easier and more thorough, but I do think I prefer the grease to drain. Maybe after I've used it for more than just hamburger, I'll adjust my opinion. I'm thinking about grilling asparagus, which would benefit from not having all the butter or oil drain off. Might be easier to grill salmon too. Hot dogs wouldn't matter. I don't believe it would matter for grilled chicken or a filet. I'll have to try that too. All in all, I'm really happy with the Ninja, and would recommend it to anyone. It's well made and does what I want it to do, and then some. It stores easily and cleans easily. It cooks great. No major complaints, except for the light. I'm looking forward to making more meals and also trying out the griddle. And I would definitely recommend.

I love ninja so had high hopes for this grill. However, it’s a US import so you’ll need a US to UK plug adapter. However, during the first use the element blew. Was able to return for a refund but I am out of pocket from the plug adapter and sorting suitable packaging to return the postage. Don’t bother if you live in the UK.

My first impressions are high. I am grilling meat and im able to get a really good sear at the 500° setting. The heat up time is extremely quick. The mesh top does a great job and reducing fat splatters without trapping in steam. Typically I sear everything in a cast iron; however, ill be switching to this Sizzle grill. The claims of this grill to be "smokeless" is a little bit of a stretch, but it produced far less smoke than my cast iron while achieving similar results. The fat splatter is significantly less than my cast iron pan. Sunny side up eggs came out perfect. The cons. The handle is a bit small. It would be nice if there was a digital temperature display so you know when and or how hot the grill is or gets. The electrical cord gets very warm at the 500° setting
