Doesn't totally ground you
The straps are easy to install and look nice but when I tested with a volt meter, barefoot standing in shoes on a grounding mat that does take the voltage to near zero(.008) the voltage only went down to 1.5volts at the lowest. So while it helped a little it doesn't totally ground you. And for $50 I would expect it to work better. Not sure how to return the straps stuck in my shoes now.
