Behind Monitor VESA Mount Designed for Mac mini, 2010 to 2023 Models, Desk Clamp Option, Black, Mount-MINI1

EDIT: I jammed a dozen washers behind the mount plate and made it work. HP's proprietary mount was the fault, not this product. It's actually very solid, holds the mac mini and a heavy monitor on a tv stand and even includes a desk mount.Original Review:Looks solid, but was not able to successfully install it because HP’s VESA mounts are not flush with the back of the monitor.I have a much smaller VESA plate that mounts to a tv stand that fits in the rear of my HP monitor, but as you can see in the photos I’ve included, the Mac mini mount will not sit flush because it covers more than the mini VESA area and includes an extension which I’m sure is nice if your monitor or tv can use the extra screws to secure it.But it completely prevents me from installing this on my monitor.

Needed to mount Mac mini to the VESA arm on my exercise bike, connected to a small HDMI tv that also serves as a pretty good computer monitor. Turns out this works very well, computer is solidly supported on the VIVO mount which in turn mounts to both the bike's media arm and also to the TV in one compact package. The only fiddling I had to do was to reverse the two mount plates so the larger plate was mounted to the bike media arm and the smaller plate mounted to the back of the TV. No issues with reversing the two mount plates. Very happy with the product.

Wasn't sure whether I would use this behind my monitor or with the clasp, wanted to see the quality of the clasp to determine. I honestly didn't want to put it behind the monitor. Happy to report that the clasp goes on nice and tight, build is very sturdy so I don't feel any concern that it could fall or get knocked off. Satisfied with this purchase for sure.

I use this mount both at home and in the office. Overall, it does its job and holds the device securely once installed. The build quality is okay, and the mount itself feels stable.However, the main issue is the desk clamp. The clamp handle does not grip the desk as well as it should, and over time it can loosen. Because of that, it doesn’t feel fully reliable, especially if you move the desk or adjust things often.In general, it works, but the clamp design could be much better. I’d rate it around 7 out of 10

Fits my Mac mini 2014 tightly and integrate well with the vivid mount. The only complaint is the strap hides the Mac mini signal LED and you don’t know whether the unit is on/off.

Great install and fit

Love this. Keeps my desktop clean and frees up much needed desk real estate. I’ve got mine clamped behind the desk (rather than up by the monitor) and I love it. Highly recommend.

1. ich will mein studiodisplay bis auf die tischkante absenken, das geht nur mit der VESA-variante und halterung eines drittanbieters ASIN: B005XXU4J62. ich will das display nicht auf den macmini stellen, da er die oberfläche zur kühlung braucht3. ich hab kein platz!zusammen mit dem 30€ monitorständer bekomme ich das hin. der ständer ist allerdings mit käfig und macmini zu schwer, um das display in einer höheren postition auszurichten!das teil kommt aus den USA, relativ schnell, nur nicht verfolgbar, da die tracking infos nicht stimmen.

Was looking of a way to get my Mac mini off my desk. Initially was going to try to mount it using a VESA bracket. This didn't work as my monitor (LG 43UN700) is 200x200 and the 100x100 adapters did not account for keeping the monitor stand in place.This solution worked well, as I can clip the mini to the back of my desk and have the future capability of VESA mounting it if I want to attach it to a monitor arm.

Bought it to mount a lenovo mini to the side of my gaming desk with the supplied bracket. Couldn't find a white one so painted it white to match my desk setup and it works and looks great. Even a little more space for a bigger mini computer. The price should be cheaper though.
