My son is happy to sit on this potty. I like that it isn't flashy and colorful as if it were a toy. We haven't used the liners yet. We are 5 days in to potty training, and soon we'll start going out and we'll bring the potty with liners. So far it works well at home without the liners. My son likes opening the top to help take out the little bucket to dump it out. It's easy to clean it out and the top seat covers the edges of the white part that you handle when you dump it, so that part doesn't get wet. It might not be as ergonomic as others that have a higher back (I considered the bjorn/), but my son doesn't seem uncomfortable and I like that this can becime an insert and stool for using a toilet later. I wasn't as worried as other reviewers about finding a really tall splash guard because my son is pretty good about making sure he's pointed down. In fact, I think a taller splash guard would make it harder to sit because he has to make sure his pants are pushed down enough that they don't get caught on it and he sort of "climbs" over it to get seated. The hinges for the seat are in a place that could potentially pinch. We've not had a problem with that yet.

This potty is SUPER AWESOME and I can't say enough good things. In fact, in my opinion there is no down-side to it at all. I keep it in our mini-van for my daughter who is potty trained, but of course is only 2.5 and can't control as well as her 2 older brothers. I used a regular training seat when they were little, but this one is awesome for travelling. We are ALWAYS in our van I feel like and this helps me from having to go inside somewhere to take her to go potty. I would much rather have her go in the comfort of our minivan and not have to worry about germs or taking so much time away from our day by stopping elsewhere. When done, I tie it up (no leaks at all!), throw it in our trash can which of course you need one of those in your car, too! And then set it up again with the SUPER AWESOME storage unit for extra bags. I bought a 2-pack to keep myself ultra stocked, and there's a place for 3 rolls (you get 1 with the toilet). Seriously, this is the best purchase I've probably ever made!!!

We bough it for our 3 yr old, she's potty trained but honestly being on the road for 18 hrs she might not hold it for too long . It was so convenient ,whenever she needed to go we just pulled over to the side. The bags that comes with they were strong, I double bagged it the first time because I saw on previous reviews that they break easily but we didn't have that issue at all. I gave it a 4 stars because the first one that we got it was broken from the inside and it looked used so I asked for an exchange and the second one that we got it was in perfect condition. Just FYI always check!!

I bought this for our upcoming vaca in July. We have a 13 hour road trip with our 3 kids, ages 9, 6 and 4 and I dont want to have to take them inside rest stops, gas stations or fast food places to use the restroom. I purchased this potty chair and we took a day trip over the weekend to test it out. Works great!! I was able to pull over in a parking lot, parked near a trashcan, I lined it with a grocery bag (for extra in case of leaks) and then used a bag it came with, closed my minivan door and my kids were able to use this with no problems and no mess! Took the bags out and tossed them in the trash and we were on our way! My anxiety about our upcoming trip has been greatly reduced knowing I wont have to take them into any public places along the way! It's funny how excited little things make me these days! I only wish my rear would fit on this thing. (Joking....kinda) Ha!!

This is maybe the best invention in children's potties - ever! I only wish we'd purchased it sooner. It's everything you need in one compact package. It's amazing for traveling. We LOVE the little baggies that you can use to keep the potty bucket clean. Whoever thought to create that little storage spot for the bags - genius! It makes toddler business a breeze on the road. THEN, what really makes this product so great is the fact that you can use it at home too. The removable seat fits nicely on the toilet, and the step stool is perfect for kiddos stepping up to the potty. The little handles on the side make it easy for little ones to easily carry the stool from the toilet over to the sink after doing their business. And it's a very sturdy stool too. Seriously - this was a killer find. I'm ditching all my other removable potty seats now that I've found this. So good, you won't be disappointed!

Bought this to keep in the car. It’s sturdy enough for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. Bags make for convenient clean up on the go. I had hoped it had a lid but the step stool is actually the potty turned upside down. The bags are difficult to get started threw the dispensing hole. But once the roll is seated and the bags started through the hole it dispenses nicely. They claim you can use dog poop bags but I’m skeptical as the cup seems to wide for a dog poop bag. I have not tried it yet though. Over all I gave it 4 stars. If the bag dispensing was easier to set up I’d give it 5. A lid and a place to store toilet paper would make this the best toilet ever. Others have said it’s not great for boys. I can see that, the splash guard isn’t that high but for a girl it works well.

So far it's amazing. I keep it in the back of my car and use it when we go to the park. We have used it a few times on roadtrips and works great. We were able to place the potty behind the passenger seat, we have a Subaru Ascent, and my daughter was able to use it without a problem. And she doesn't look crowded/ uncomfortable while doing it. We love the baggies it comes with. Super easy to just wipe it down and tie up the baggie.

This little potty seat works well. My two year old boy has no problems using the potty seat snapped into the toilet, or using the whole potty on the go. To remove the potty seat from the bathroom toilet, rotate it. It also works well as a step to the sink or toilet. No leaking or pinching problems.
