This telescope is built very well and is fairly capable in this price range. There is sturdy plastic cap on the lenses and the extra lenses also come with a strong case. If you are a beginner, this will be the perfect way to get started. You can enjoy the moon in the highest level of detail and can even view moons of Jupyter. You have two different lens available for viewing objects depending on the distance. The stand is also really stable with smooth moving parts which allows for a good experience while adjusting the telescope lens and focus. The overall weight is good and it also comes with a backpack that makes it easy to take it with you during hikes. Finally, the attachment for holding phones is the best part. You can take a picture of the view from the telescope.

This is a wonderful telescope that comes with everything you need to have a great time stargazing. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son, who will be going into aerospace engineering in the fall, and he loves it. The kit comes with a great tripod that’s sturdy enough to keep things stable and secure when using, all the lens filters and adapters you need, it’s small enough to be convenient and something he can take to college with him, but large enough to “feel real” and not flimsy or like a toy; plus, it comes with a convenient bag to keep everything in one place. The best feature for my son is the phone holder to take photos with his phone camera. Images are clear and the magnification is great. I’ve always enjoyed telescopes but never had one of my own. Being able to purchase this as a gift for my son at such a great price point was a no-brainer. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a great jumping-off point for strolling the skies! Great for beginners, light and easy to carry around

I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The detail it brings out, especially when looking at planets and some brighter deep-sky objects, really surprised me—it’s like a whole new layer of the night sky opened up. Setting it up was fairly straightforward (though aligning it took a little patience), and once it’s ready, the images are crisp and steady, even at higher zooms. It’s also light enough to move around easily, which I appreciate for taking it to different spots. The only downside for me is the mount; it has a bit of wobble when you’re trying to make fine adjustments. But aside from that, this telescope is a great pick if you’re looking to step up your stargazing game without going overboard on budget. It’s definitely become one of my favorite ways to spend clear nights!

Affordable and awesome! Great for beginners!

You get what you paid for. I understand that this telescope is just meant to be a toy for kids but the quality still not worth the $$$. Yes the lense does zoom and you can see moon in a clear night. However the image is very blurry and suspectable to even tiny vibration. I recommend better lenses with a much more sturdy stand for similar cost.

This telescope has exceeded my expectations is all ways. It is so much fun for the whole family. Using it to look at the sky at night, or at birds in our backyard, its a wonderful way for the family to enjoy nature. The telescope itself is very well built and all materials are of high quality. The stand extends to a high position and tightens and levels very easily. it is very sturdy when extended. It is very easy and straight forward to setup and get it ready. The telescope has a lot of adjustments to make sure you get the best and clearest view. The carry bag is perfect to pack all accessories very nicely and makes transporting and storing the telescope a breeze. I think one of our favorite features of this telescope is the smartphone mount. Having this allows us to capture great up close pictures to share with the family. Overall a fantastic purchase!!

However, I did notice that when zoomed to the maximum level, there’s a small spot visible in the view. I’m not sure if this is specific to my unit or common across all, but it didn’t significantly affect the overall experience. Overall, it’s a fun and affordable option for anyone looking to begin their stargazing journey.
