Excellent little folder
This was my first foray into the world of folding bikes. I did a bit of research, mostly around the issue of having such small wheels (14 inch), and decided to give it a shot.First thing to say is that the photos don't do the colour of the bike justice, the green has a slight pearlescent sparkle to it which is very attractive. The overall build quality is very high - everything feels solid on this bike. My fears that the low centre of gravity would make me feel unstable were completely unfounded as within moments I was completely confident on this bike, the smaller wheels give a great sense of manoeuvrability.Folding the bike involves unscrewing a collar on the handlebars in order for them to split and pivot, pulling each pedal outwards slightly to engage the folding mechanism, and then simply lifting the bike to fold the frame. With practice this whole procedure can be completed in under ten seconds, but the frame folding itself is as instant as picking the bike up. When in the folded position it can be wheeled around easily, so no need to actually carry it other than for steps and stairs. With seven gears you're never going to be competing in the Tour de France on this bike, but the top gear lets you ride along at a quite reasonable pace, perhaps up to 15MPH. In town I was using the top gear all the time, and the lower gears offer enough options to get you up any reasonable gradient. The seller (Lotsofkit) had the bike to my door within 20 hours of ordering, well before the estimate delivery date. Communication was excellent. In summary, I love this bike. It looks great, folds well, feels solid and is safe to ride.
