Fit and forget. Review: Great coupler for counterclockwise vent hoses! - Item arrived quickly and well packaged. It is 3d printed, but is an exceptional product. It worked exactly as it should. I used it to couple two 5" vent hoses (the original that came with our Black and Decker portable AC, and a different brand hose purchased off desertcart) and both fit perfectly and was large enough that each hose screwed in roughly 2-3 inches each and I have discerned no noticeable air leakage and no tape or anything was required to seal it. The hoses were counterclockwise threaded and everything worked fine.Definitely would recommend for 5" counterclockwise vent hoses. Review: Seems a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for! - Allowed me to extend the hose that was included with my Emerson Quiet Kool system to a more manageable length. Coupled with another hose (Zealor 78 Inch Long Universal Exhaust Hose Counter Clockwise Threads Threads for Portable Air Conditioner), I was able to reach the drop ceiling for the system exhaust. Yeah, it may seem a bit expensive, but it worked perfectly. The fit between the two hoses was tight and there was no exhaust leakage, even without duct tape. ## Features - Counter-clockwise threaded coupler connects to a COUNTER-CLOCKWISE threaded hoses. PLEASE measure your tube diameter and consider if 5-6-CPL is more suitable. - Secure fit on 5-inch tubes with no leak. Outer diameter 138mm. Inner diameter 130mm (5.12inch). The inner diameter does not take the thread into consideration and is the maximum diameter of a compatible tube. - LEFTY TIGHTY. Tube should measure roughly five (5) inches in diameter. MEASURE YOUR TUBE BEFORE PURCHASE. - NOT designed for clothes dryers. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0768N8JHC | | Brand | intulon | | Brand Name | intulon | | Color | Off White | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 127 Reviews | | Item Dimensions L x W | 5"L x 5"W | | Manufacturer | intulon | | Product Dimensions | 5"L x 5"W | | UPC | 635510748984 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** intulon - **Color:** Off White - **Manufacturer:** intulon - **Product Dimensions:** 5"L x 5"W - **UPC:** 635510748984 - **Unit Count:** 1.0 Count ## Images ![5-inch Tube Portable A/C AC Air Conditioner Exhaust Hose Coupler/Coupling - Counter-clockwise thread 5CCWCPL - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61SJhLGuSmL.jpg) ![5-inch Tube Portable A/C AC Air Conditioner Exhaust Hose Coupler/Coupling - Counter-clockwise thread 5CCWCPL - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61mJobfg3aL.jpg) ![5-inch Tube Portable A/C AC Air Conditioner Exhaust Hose Coupler/Coupling - Counter-clockwise thread 5CCWCPL - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81RUoOETQDL.jpg) ![5-inch Tube Portable A/C AC Air Conditioner Exhaust Hose Coupler/Coupling - Counter-clockwise thread 5CCWCPL - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71xhitk2gvL.jpg) ![5-inch Tube Portable A/C AC Air Conditioner Exhaust Hose Coupler/Coupling - Counter-clockwise thread 5CCWCPL - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61dA5772oVL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great coupler for counterclockwise vent hoses! *by C***N on May 23, 2018* Item arrived quickly and well packaged. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Verify threading direction on hoses *by R***C on September 23, 2018* These work great, allowing you greater flexibility in positioning your AC unit with the addition of more hoses. Do note that hoses come in both clockwise and counter-clockwise versions and I believe that Intulon makes it's couplers all three possible combinations (CW/CW, CCW/CCW, and CW/CCW), as well as versions that adapt from 5" to 6" hoses. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/54394938-5-inch-tube-portable-a-c-ac-air-conditioner-exhaust](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/54394938-5-inch-tube-portable-a-c-ac-air-conditioner-exhaust) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
