The tag in the knitted cotton covering says not to wash it. Why shouldn’t you wash a cotton knitted covering? That seems unusual.

This cover is washable. But the mattress is not washable.

What material is the cover made from? Is it 100% cotton? Will it stop the airflow?

I didn't get the covered one. I've placed mine under my mattress pad.

Would it be comfy to stack two 3 inch toppers on top of each other? Kinda worried one topper would go flat if someone that weighs 230lbs sits on it

We did find that we needed a topper on this. We purchased a 3-inch egg crate topper and put it on under the mattress cover. Big improvement.
