The movie tells the story of two Brooklyn plumbers who are brothers and best friends: Mario, the brave one with the "let's-a go" attitude, and the perpetually anxious Luigi, who would prefer to go nowhere. Great story, great visuals on PS5, but poorly encoded for 4K disc players
Great movie however don't expect to get 4K on a standalone 4K player, the 4K encoding appears to only work on Playstation 5 for some reason. The 4K disc only plays in 1080i on my Panasonic DP-UB9000P1K player despite the player connected directly to my LG G4 OLED TV and other content playing correctly; so if you are planning on watching this on a dedicated player other than a PS5, wait for the double pack with Mario Galaxy to see if they fix this problem. Otherwise, great movie series and I hope the movie after Galaxy is a great hit too.
