First of all, I found this backpack cooler before there were any reviews. I was concerned about the mentioned warranty in the description, but there were no details. Then a few of the VINE reviews appeared and I decided to pull the trigger and buy. Note this is the first written review for this item that is based on a purchased product and not a free sample.1) After I received the cooler and the box also did not have warranty info (but there was an email), I emailed the company. They were very responsive and provided the manual and warranty info via email. They have since added it to the amazon listing as an attachment, so everyone can now see the info on the 2 year warranty. I am pleased the company was responsive.2) The cooler will hold 8 twelve ounce cans standing in a layer and 3 layers, with enough room for some ice for an afternoons outing. 24 cans. For more time, it would be less cans and more ice.3) I loaded with one layer of 8 already cold cans and put an equal amount of Ice on top for a 1:1 ratio. The cooler was placed in my 70F house. After 24 hours there was still a little ice. After 36 hours, just barely ice. After 48 hours, still cool, but no ice. I am pleased with those results. I think 16 cans and the rest filled with Ice would likely stay cold for a weekend.4) at the end of my test, I turned the cooler sideways over my sink. Water does drip out. I am not surprised by this. While the magnet is pretty strong, the top is not built in such a way as to be waterproof. I would call it water resistant. It was strong enough to remain closed when I turned upside down. Overall, I am pleased with this performance. I dont think waterproof is necessary for this to work well. And who cares if it falls over and a little water drips out. As long as the contents stay safe and cold and I think that will be the case.5) My biggest concern is that the top and bottom are made of the same foam. While its fine on the top. I am concerned that it is too soft for the bottom. When filled with weight and placed on rocky and uneven terrain, I am concerned that the bottom will deteriorate faster than other parts of the pack. I would have put a harder plastic plate across the bottom. While this is my gut feeling, I have not tested the durability of this yet, so this is just my first impression.Final thoughts, I am giving this 5 stars based on my initial impression, testing, responsiveness of the company. I like the backpack cooler and hope it holds up. I will not really be using it much until late spring when my camping trips begin, so it will not be tested for awhile. But i wanted to share my review for those considering now with the discounted introductory price.

I’ve had my Novoto backpack cooler for about 3 weeks and really like it so far. I bought it to replace a yeti bag cooler with a broken zipper. The magnetic lid has worked great and seems solid. Ice retention is pretty good. Easily holds ice for 24 hrs. If you really packed it with half cans (about 18) and half ice you could probably get 36 to 48 hrs of ice. The cooler holds more than I expected. I could easily put 24 pack of cans in it and still have room for some ice. I got the tan cooler and really like the look and the accessory pouch and pockets.I am a little concerned with how long the bottom of the cooler will last, but as long as I’m not dragging it across concrete it will probably be fine.I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a bag cooler in this price range. I don’t think you can beat the accessibility the magnetic lid provides.

We live in Arizona and I got this because my partner works outside and needs to stay hydrated. Frozen water bottles stay cold all day and into the next day. Love the magnetic closure, makes it quick and easy to grab drinks.

After using many zippered coolers and being disappointed, this is exactly what we were looking for. Pro tip - find some ultra thin ice packs and slide them on both sides.

Purchased this cooler for the beach…by far the best cooler we have and most useful. It is lightweight and holds ice!

To be bigger. I’m a UPS driver and carry Atleast 12 bottles of water daily, on top of lunch. I have two thin yeti ice blocks that made even less room, but the truck gets over 100 in the summertime so I need as much ice as possible. The idea of the magnet lid I loved bc zippers are incredibly annoying to deal with, but it doesn’t keep cold for the whole day. I ordered another Tourit backpack cooler bc it’s huge and keeps everything cold all day.

So I'm very familiar with the Yeti version (my wife was goming to buy it for me, except it's sold out). I like this better. Same insulation features, except the magnetic closure (patented) is a game changer. Highly recommend, this is the best I've come across
