TerraNova Success Strategies Grade 5 Mathematics Workbook: Comprehensive Skill Building Practice for the TerraNova, Third Edition

While my son's assistant principal at school said this is not the same company who actually writes the Terra Nova tests, my son completed these workbooks last year and his test scores did improve from the previous year.

I like this book because it is easy to use. The reading passages are clear and easy to follow. The questions are aligned with the stories in the passage.

5th graders are a lot smarter today than ever before. This math workbook has excellent math problems to use as a practice for upcoming tests. But you will need to work with your child because the written explanations aren't simple enough for the ordinary child to comprehend on their own. The corresponding Teacher Answer Key has the answers to the workbook problems. Keep it close by because if you're like most parents, you won't know how to find the answers to every problem in the workbook. This workbook makes an excellent activity for your child during the summer or extended breaks from school.

Delivered on time, however I am disappointed with the content. The content is exactly the same asITBS Success Strategies Level 11 Grade 5 math portion. Do not waist your money on this book. The ITBS Success Strategies Level 11 Grade 5 has both the reading and math study guide material and questions in one book for the same price as the terranova math study guide.

The list of test strategies provide insight. Book contents are outlined and flow. The workbook & answer key are easy to read, detailed, comprehensive, and not overwhelming. 2 practice test are included and features bonus materials as well. I would recommend adding this guide to your child's tutoring regimen.
