Okay, so I got my hands on the Rolling Square Edge Pro Tablet Kit, and honestly, I'm pretty blown away. As someone who's always trying to optimize my desk space and workflow, using my iPad as a secondary display next to my laptop is a daily thing. I've tried a few different stands and clamps over the years, and they've always been... fine. But this? This is *good*. First off, the MagSafe compatibility is a dream. No more fiddling with clamps that might scratch my tablet or trying to perfectly balance it on a flimsy stand. With this, my iPad Pro just snaps into place securely. It's such a satisfying and reassuring click, and I haven't had any worries about it wobbling or falling off, even when I'm tapping away on the screen. The magnets are surprisingly strong. The "Edge Pro" part of the name really makes sense when you see it in action. It holds my tablet right at the edge of my laptop screen (or even my desktop monitor, depending on my setup for the day) at a perfect height and angle. It's like having a seamless extension of my main display, which is incredibly handy for keeping Slack open, watching a tutorial, or just having my notes right there without taking up precious desk real estate. Build quality feels premium too. It's sturdy, doesn't feel cheap or flimsy, and has a nice, minimalist design that blends in well. Set up was a breeze, literally just attach and go. My only minor thought is that you'll obviously need a MagSafe compatible iPad (or a MagSafe case for your iPad) to get the full magic out of this. But if you're already in that ecosystem, or thinking about it, this mount is an absolute must-have. Seriously, if you use your tablet as a second screen, especially next to a laptop, you need to check this out. It's one of those things you don't realize how much you needed until you have it. Highly recommend!

I use these for supporting my phones, webcams (via iphone), and a host of other stuff. Good for fidgeting too.

I really wanted to like this, I was genuinely excited to see how this would work with my MacoBook. When I unboxed and tried to use it, here's what I discovered: * You HAVE to use the adhesive magnetic plates to get the magnetic holder to work. The metal case on the MacBook does NOT have enough magnetism to work. The holder will attach on it's own to other metal surfaces, but not the computer. So you either have to glue metal plates to your laptop, or to a case on your laptop. * The adhesive metal plate has a knob that sticks up. That means the plates will catch on things. * The kit to attach a tablet is just not strong enough to hold the weight of a tablet. * I was able to get a phone to attach with the adhesive plate, however two issues there. If you tip the screem back slightly on a 2023 MachBook Pro, the weight of an iPhone 14 was enough to cause the screen to fall all the way back and not stay up. Only if you keep your screen completely upright will you be able to keep it stable. Also, the wireless charger in their kit does not work through a case. I had to take it out of the case to charge.

The product is great and does what it claims. Just a warning that the adhesive is super strong. I bought this for my MacBook Pro but after about few months of owning the rolling edge, I decided to sell my MacBook Pro back to apple. I wanted to make sure to get the best price so I wanted to remove the rolling edge. It is extremely difficult to remove the rolling edge, at the end I ended but having to buy goo gone, work gloves, and extra fishing line because the one they provide was not enough. I’m a pretty strong guy too and I work out regularly, but I had to use so much force just to get these removed even with goo gone’s help. At the end i spent close to the price of what I paid just to initially on products to just take the product off. If you even think there is a possibility of you selling your device, then don’t purchase this product.

These are great if you keep in mind that you will have to put strong adhesive on your product. I love them. I use it to do a triple stack laptop portable monitor setup and it works awesome. The magnets are shockingly strong and hold up a full 16 inch portable monitor. They do not sell replacement or additional metal plates. I messed up and managed to bend a plate and cannot purchase a new one unless I purchase more hinges as well. Also, considering these are magnetic, you could use them with more than one device, if they'd sell you more metal plates. Please sell me metal plates so I can actually use the product. Edit: Upon seeing my review the seller informed me that I was incorrect, as they do offer replacement plates on their website, just not on Amazon. Additionally, they sent me a kit for free even though it was my fault that I bent my plates. Customer service doesn't get much better than that.

they try to make it seem in the marketing info and reviews like this product is connected with magnets exclusively but that is not the case: if you install this on a laptop, a large (strong, difficult to remove) adhesive patch will be stuck onto your laptop, possibly damaging the surface. For me, that was the WHOLE POINT of purchasing this item; to avoid the adhesives used by competing products. I was fooled by the marketing. Don't make my mistake. Now I have to get Apple to remove the adhesive pad to keep from losing trade-in value on my MacBook Pro.

Bought these to connect a second screen to a portable game player. They work well enough but I noticed after a few times folding down the top screen, the bottom connection would come off of the device. Easy enough to put back in place but now it's happening more often. Great idea and concept but without better adhesion it's not for me. Also, these are very expensive for a pair of hinges but the lack of something similar on the market allows for the inflated price. $10 would be about what I would pay for these. Hopefully more manufacturers enter the market for similar products to bring the prices down to something more reasonable.

Great item it's quite easy to set up and works great the seller himelf is quite quick at responding to queries and solved my problem the magnet itself is very strong and can hold my portable monitor quite good and I think it'll work even better on tablets from my experience I would say make sure it's align properly and stick the magnets forcebly a bit more before using the magnets besides that it's very good 💯
