Better than I expected
Great little welder. I had one of the harbor freight green ones before and this seems much more sturdy. I’ve only used it once so time will tell. If I have anything else to add I’ll add to the review. But for now if you’re on the fence about buying one just do it you won’t regret it.

Great little welder
I really had my doubts about a $100 welder. This little thing does a great job. It’s way better than my large welder I use. Great for small work and Autobody work.

Excellent quality,Lightweight, portable and welds great!
The media could not be loaded. I am very impressed by this welder. This is the perfect welder to keep in the garage or in the truck. It's light enough to bring anywhere perfect size .Welds great easy to use ,control panel makes you feel like an expert. This does not seem cheap at all should cost a lot more than it does. Both the ground and Mig gun are very long 8ft. But More importantly it does what is advertised. It welds with flux perfectly.

An excellent little powerhouse of a welder. Beginner friendly.
The media could not be loaded. There isn’t anything about this little welder that I don’t love, except if the instructions were better written that might be helpful for those without experience. This is my second welder of this type, in this size class. This one is my favorite for a few reasons, including the ability to set wire feed speed.I do own an actual mig welder (Millermatic with argon gas setup). This machine doesn’t compare to that performance. I’m not sure I would call this one a mig welder at all, but the flux core wire supplied along with auto wire feed is leaps and bounds better than stick welders in this size class. New welders will appreciate ease of setup and a short learning curve. From my pics and video I choose a middle voltage setting for a starting point, but accidentally left the wire feed speed too high from when I initially fed the wire through the gun. Consequently, I ended up with a bit more splatter than would be expected. I had this welder plugged into a 20amp garage outlet. The included items were as described.I was able to make a nice enough looking bead (my technique has me make small cursive letter “e” repeatedly in the weld pool). My test metal had to be my vise anvil as I ran out of scrap metal. Attempting to chisel those welds off was futile. Only my angle grinder could remove them and they never broke free along the way. The weld penetration was just outstanding. This machine is more than capable of making very strong welds as long as you prep the surfaces and don’t try to weld material that is too thick. My weld beads were mostly 1/8 inch diameter, but this is capable producing 1/4 inch weld beads without a problem. What you get here is great for beginners and for those of us not wanting to break out the bigger rigs. The duty cycle of this is 35% and makes it suitable for light fabrication and quick repairs. If looking to weld together a go-cart or bigger project all in one day, I wouldn’t choose this. However, for making custom shelf brackets, workbench legs, creative metal yard art, etc. from angle iron or steel flat, this is perfect. For its size and power class, and at the listed price point under $150 at time of my review, I think this is an excellent value. For my two sons who will be new to welding, this machine will be the one I will be getting them.
