Can I view the cars live gps detected location remotely through the application?

ROVE Dash Cams incorporates a built-in WiFi feature that facilitates seamless pairing between your smartphone (whether it's an iPhone or Android) and the ROVE Dash Cam. Once the camera establishes a connection with ROVE's WiFi network, a pairing akin to that of a Bluetooth device takes place.

The WiFi coverage span emanating from the ROVE dash camera encompasses approximately 10 meters when unobstructed. For viewing camera recordings via the ROVE APP on your smartphone, it's imperative to remain within this 10-meter WiFi radius emanating from the dash cam. Straying beyond this 10-meter radius will result in the loss of WiFi signal, effectively terminating the paired connection with our ROVE dash cam.

Additionally, it's essential to note that the GPS function integrated within the camera doesn't support real-time tracking. Instead, it furnishes geolocation data regarding the routes traversed while the camera is actively recording. This geolocation information is embedded within the recorded video and can be viewed through the Rove GPS Player or the Rove app when the video is played back.
