Excellent Home Security System – Easy to Install and Reliable!
I couldn't be happier with the KERUI 115db DIY Wireless Home Security System! This system is a game-changer for home security, offering a perfect balance of affordability, functionality, and ease of use. Installation was a breeze, even for someone like me with minimal DIY experience. The wireless design meant no messy wiring, and the components connected seamlessly. The 115db siren is incredibly loud and serves as an excellent deterrent for any unwanted intruders. I also appreciate that it’s weatherproof, so I can confidently use it outdoors without worry. The window and door sensors are responsive and reliable, giving me peace of mind that every entry point is monitored. I love how customizable the system is, allowing me to add or adjust components as needed. This system is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their home security without breaking the bank. Highly recommend!

So easy to install
What an incredible alarm. Was being quoted £200 for call out and £250 an hour for a burglar alarm engineer to come and fix an old wired bantam alarm system. I ordered three of these alarms and they were up and running in next to no time .It took me one hour and cost under £ 100 and a much better system and so easy to use. Would recommend to all family and friends.

Works fine as a basic Motorhome alarm
I was looking for a basic, low-cost alarm for my motorhome. I already have a Tracker type alarm that would notify me if the vehicle was started or moved (and I can track via GPS) but I wanted something that would deter a break-in. My Ford Transit based Motorhome doesn’t have an inbuilt alarm, presumably as it would be activated if your van was locked at night but you are living in it. There are much more sophisticated alarms available but they can be quite expensive (£150 +) so I gave this a try. It’s not intended as a vehicle alarm more for sheds, garages etc. I could see from the description that the detectors are battery powered and I could also see that the central alarm/sounder part is mains powered but via a power adapter that in the pictures had a n output of 12V DC, so could (with a few modifications) be powered from the leisure battery. So I took a gamble and ordered (I could have always have returned to Amazon if not suitable). When it arrived, I first setup the system in the house with the alarm sounder plugged in to the mains. It comes with a proper English (i.e. not translated Chinese!) instruction sheet. This is very basic but then the system is very basic. You power it up, it beeps, then you disconnect/reconnect the power to the sounder three times. It beeps three times and goes into a learning mode. You then remove the isolator tab from all of the sensor batteries so they power-up. You also press a button on each of the two remotes, they are acknowledged with a beep. You power-cycle the sounder again and you are good-to-go. The sounder is very loud, I smothered it in a towel, set the alarm and one by one tested the three window/door switches and PIR (my kit had 2 PIR’s but I will only use one). All worked fine 1st time. The window/door switches have 2 x LED’s on them. When you move the magnet away to the point it alarms, one LED briefly illuminates, this helps in the setting up. I don’t know what the 2nd LED does? The PIR has an inbuilt LED that illuminates when it detects movement in the usual way. I then took the kit to my Motorhome and installed one window/door switches on my door and the other two on my two main (vulnerable) windows. Motorhome windows are (small) I had to mount the switch part on the Window and the magnet on the fixed side. The red LED helps in getting this right. Obviously, this does obscure the window a bit (see photo’s) but I’m fine with that as they are obvious from the outside and acts as a deterrent. I didn’t have any issues in mounting them, they are supplied with pre-cut double sided pads which grip well. There is a fair lee-way in the positioning of the magnet, maybe a 8- 10mm gap required before triggering, so the positioning doesn’t have to be perfect, just close enough. Also, the switches are small enough that they didn’t get in the way when I pull out the blind or fly-screen. Same with the door. My MH also has windows in the bathroom and two in the bed area. I mounted my PIR at the cab end, looking backward over the inside of the van. Seems to work well and will trigger if movement is detected in the van. The PIR has an on/off switch so you can include/exclude this from the system meaning I can set the alarm (at night) while in the van and have permitter protection. Lastly, I tapped into a fused, always-on, leisure battery supplied 12V supply (some DIY skills required here). I cut the cable to the sounder and spliced-in a longer two-core cable. I mounted the sounder in an external locker. As it was, the power adapter was rated at 9V but seems fine on my 12V supply. Of course doing this would invalidate any warranty. Al works fine. The remotes have a really long range (100M?) so no issues arming/disarming. I have had the alarm on (with the PIR on) for over 24 hours now (with the MH on my drive) and no false alarms. Overall, I’m very happy with the system. Great value at this price. The remotes are a bit cheap and “plasticky” but should be ok if looked after. The buttons are small and there is a risk you may press the “panic” button and trigger the alarm by accident. Useful though if there was someone creeping about outside and you wanted to scare them off. The sounder is VERY loud and on the plus-side would surely scare off an potential break-in of triggered but on the negative side, when you arm/disarm the system, it gives an acknowledgement chirp. If doing this as night with other campers nearby, this may be a bit irritating but there doesn’t seem to be anyway round this. I also like the fact that detectors use proper 9V and 12A lithium batteries so should last and they are cheap and easy to replace. The remotes use button type batteries but like a car key-fob hopefully should last. One last factor would be the current-drain by the sounder/control system being constantly on. My MH has solar panels, so they should easily compensate for any battery drain but if you don’t have this and are not connected to the mains, this might be an issue. I measured the battery drain at 8.6mA (whether armed or not) so by my maths, this would take 242 days to drain a 100Ah battery to 50% so not really a worry.

Easy set up, very loud, siren is awesome. 2 remotes
Very easy set up... position sensors appropriately, plug in the siren (anywhere within 30 metres of sensors) and use pre programmed remote control (1 pf 2 supplied) to arm/disarm. Siren is loud. Much more than the "Shed Defender" that's commonly sold. Works very well, haven't had any false alarms even on windy days. A very well made, well presented alarm system at a bargain price. I haven't been sponsored or paid for this review. The alarm has genuinely secured my man cave located in West London. Am sure it will scare the life out of anyone who tries to break in at stupid o clock in the morning.

The easiest Alarm system to install. Excellent value for money.
The System is comprehensive and pre-programmed, so all you have to do is pull the battery tabs on the doors sensors and fix them in place. Site the PIRs and switch on. The siren is the base unit and it’s very loud. Couldn’t be easier. Installed and tested in less than an hour. The instructions tell you how to link the sensors to the base unit, but on the box it informs you they are already paired. So if you need to add more sensors, the information is there. Brilliant!

Simple and (hopefully) effective.
All things bought from China are smaller than they look in the photos. That said the product was well packaged. Instructions were basic but the video provided a bit more information. I tested everything in the house before installing and it worked fine. In the shed, though, I had an issue with fitting 3 magnetic sensors to a single door and none seemed to trigger the alarm. Resolved by removing one. You might justifiably ask why did I need 3 sensors on one door? Because they were there and I don't have windows to fit them to. So pretty pleased with the kit. I just hope it never gets used in anger.

Alarm system
Great product, and does exactly as described, the only criticism is the mounting on the PIR unit. The ball socket mount is very tight to slide onto the PIR. I filed a small amount of each of the edges so lt slides on and off easily, otherwise it can easily break when it comes to changing the 9 volt battery. Still give it a 5 star rating though, and it’s very very loud just what you need to scare anyone off.
