simple, bulletproof tongs for cooking and serving. people buy me fancy ones as gifts and I just put those in a drawer and use these perfect tongs.

These are intended for food serving, but I’m using them for my ultrasonic car parts cleaner. And they work great for my needs.

These smaller ones are made with a lighter weight metal. They definitely don’t feel as sturdy as the longer ones and they are very sharp, so be careful when you wash them, they cut both my husband and myself.

It looks around 18 gauge stainless steel. The handles have folded stainless steel making it very strong design. The surface area of the grip/jaws of the tongs that actually touch the food is not overly large but does a good job with gripping pieces of chicken, corn cobs or even pasta. Very few items on amazon should be rated as excellent but this is one of them. Tongs are used multiple times daily and its best to stock up on tools like this that are low cost yet quality construction. So ill buy around 5-6 9 inch tongs, 5 12 inch tongs for grilling.

Junk. Save your money. I bought this brand in the shorter version, and they were indeed, heavy duty metal and work great. I then ordered the larger ones in the same brand that were advertised as the same heavy duty. They were flimsy junk, that twisted and actually dropped the item I was trying to pick up - right back in to the hot grease, splashing it everywhere. They also were not marked Winco, as the first pair were, so who knows who made them.

Heavy steel. Much better product than Fox Run brand, no sharp edges.
