Great Product! Gamer Approved!
These have been awesome for my setup. I’m using them primarily as IP cameras with my own NVR software rather than relying entirely on the TP-Link/Tapo ecosystem, and they were very easy to get up and running. The viewing angle is nice and wide, image quality is good for the price, and they fit really well into a multi-camera home monitoring setup. For an inexpensive indoor camera, they give you a lot of value without feeling overly cheap. I actually prefer these over the Tapo C210 in my setup because the connection has been more stable and consistent in my experience. The C210 has the advantage of pan and tilt, and it would definitely be nice if these could do the same, but for me, consistency matters more than extra features. I’d rather have a fixed camera that stays connected reliably than one with more movement options that gives me more trouble. I also prefer using them through my NVR software for recording and monitoring, although the Tapo app itself is still pretty good. It’s a little bloated in places, but overall it works well, is easy enough to navigate, and gives you plenty of control over the cameras when you need it. Setup was straightforward, they’ve worked reliably, and they’ve been a great inexpensive way to expand the camera lineup without spending a ton per camera. My only real gripe is the power cable. I wish it was a little longer, especially if you’re trying to route it neatly around furniture, walls, or along trim to keep the installation looking clean. A bit more cable length would make placement and concealment easier. Other than that, I really don’t have much to complain about. Wide field of view, easy setup, reliable connection, works great as an IP camera with NVR software, and inexpensive enough that adding multiple cameras doesn’t get ridiculous. Easy 5/5 for me.

Must purchase
Camera works great inside my home, great view especially at night. Voice activated is clear. Ive had it for almost 3 years and never had a problem. Connected right away. The App is incredible. I recommend this camera especially if you have pets.

Overall a good little camera with slight limitations
Updated review 2026: After one year of purchase I finally decided to put this C110 to use. I did a side by side comparison against a Tapo C121 and here are my thoughts. Video quality: they’re both 2K but the C121 seems different in some aspects like slightly more saturated colors, better, meaning it’s a little crisper, whereas the C110 background light was a bit blurry. Quality and resolution between both cams is about spot on except for the aforementioned difference. If I wasn't doing a side by side I probably would see any differences at all. Both are great quality 2K Mounting for the C121 is much easier to place or attached to any surface, inside or out. The C110 is limited as it’s just a stand which of course can places on a wall with a metal base or some double sided sticky tape The base/foot of the stand can be removed or put back but the stand is part of the cam. I guess this might help with some alternate and creative placement in the house C110 is stuck with a plug in cord with a small block. The length is good for most inside settings but it’s not usbc so if you won’t be able to place further from an outlet than the length of the attached cord. Not a problem for most. Overall the C110 is a great little indoor security/monitoring camera but for just a small amount of dough more you’ll probably enjoy going up a step and paying little more for a little better experience. ORIGINAL REVIEW I just switched all my cameras from the whizzy brand to TPLink Tapo C121 cams and I’m very happy so far with the ease and usability of the Tapo app. I bought this C110 as an indoor cam and I wished I would have stayed with the C121 cams for indoor too. This C110 is just what it is, a baby cam. There’s not much weight to it and its mounting capabilities are limited unlike the C122 which has the magnetic base and metal plates that stay sturdy on the surface they’re placed on. This will probably remain in a drawer because it’s not worth the hassle to return it, a most likely I might use it as a backup camera somewhere or give it as a gift. If you’re on the fence about getting inexpensive security cams, TPLink Tapo cams are my favorite value cams with a lot more options than other companies, So I do recommend all their products.

Great for the price
Replacing some Reolink E1 Zoom cameras that just can't seem to start operational for more than a few seconds. So far this camera has been great in terms of actually providing an operational video stream. Even works in BlueIris with a little bit of setup and knowledge (use port 2020 for discovery). I paid $15 per device on sale which is an amazing price for something that works in BlueIris. The main downsides are limited configuration and picture quality. I get a lot of bloom from light sources in color mode and the overall picture is over exposed to the point where I'm losing details. I also need to configure the cut over to IR mode because some light sources prevent it from happening when it should. Would be great if I could adjust settings to help with that. As a result, the app is limited and actually quite annoying to use... it bombards me with unnecessary guide/tutorial dialogs and ads for their paid services during setup. Glad I don't have to use it after I get it running in Blue Iris. Here are the high level details compared to my E1 Zoom it is replacing: Pros - Works on modern wifi systems pretty well - Seems pretty stable so far - Price (on sale at $15/per device this is a no brainer) Cons: - Picture quality - Limited configuration - App is annoying

Incredible cam at a reasonable price
This small camera has an amazing picture. Small enough to hide in an inconspicuous place, and set-up is a breeze. I bought this because I've used TP Link/Tapo products for years and never had any issues with connection or failure. The subscription to real time alerts is nominal when you consider most security systems with monitoring are quite expensive. If you're not into real time alerts, you can still use the sd card system to record events. Do not hesitate to buy!

Nice Indoor Camera with AI Detection - Excellent for Business and Baby Monitoring!
I’ve been really impressed with these Tapo cameras and ended up buying them for multiple uses in our business as well as for baby monitoring at home. The setup has been smooth, the software is excellent, and I haven’t had any connection issues at all, which is a big plus for something I rely on every day. The 2K image quality is very good overall, and while it can get a little pixelated when zooming in compared to 4K, I honestly didn’t feel the extra cost was necessary for my needs. The AI detection is a standout feature because it helps identify people on the timeline instead of making you sort through every bit of standard motion, which saves a lot of time. I also like the two-way audio for talking to the kids or staff, and the local storage option via microSD card so no subscription is needed. The power cord is pretty long at least 6 feet, which makes placement easy without extension cords. Night vision is also very clear and well lit, and the daytime image quality is just as strong. For the price, I think these offer excellent value and have been a great fit for both business and home use.

Quality & Price
Quality for the price so crisp, clear super affordable and compared to the Kasa camera I had in my salon initially. The night time or dark mode feature is so well lit. It’s truly amazing. Only thing I can say is no matter what settings I changed the camera notifications go off constantly, which is a bit annoying I had to silence them Haven’t really had time to mess with that yet, but it’s great. 10/10

Great deal, easy to use
These tapo cameras are pretty great for the price. I waited for a sale and got them at an even better price (the prices of these things fluctuate so much). They're definitely worth it, especially if you can snag them on sale like I did. The AI pet detection is really cool - my dog likes to run around in the backyard and sometimes jump on the fence, but this camera caught every instance without any issues. It even sent me a notification when he started barking at a squirrel once (I guess that's considered a threat). The video quality is pretty good too - I can see everything clearly, even at night with the night vision. The two-way audio works well enough if you need to tell your pet or child to calm down from another room. It took me a little while to set up the cameras, but once I got them connected to my Wi-Fi and Alexa (which was easy), everything worked smoothly. My only complaint is that the app can be a bit buggy sometimes, but it's not too bad.

Nowhere near 2k
Very poor video quality even with all the app updates and setting configurations. If you really need a clear view, don’t buy this.
