as good as I remembered it from when I still lived in Germany, very refreshing!

I've went to Riga for a vacation to visit my relatives and had some live same day brewed KVAS. This has the same taste. Simply amazing. Best thirst quencher after exercise or a bike ride outside in a hot weather... Just perfect for a cold refreshing drink. Almost like standing next to the Yellow Bochka yourself :).

Bought these for my son for Christmas. My son studies Russian and loves kvass and other treats. The case didn't last a full week, he gave it his full seal of approval.

It’s not what you would expect and is nice at room temp and or slightly chilled.

First time trying Kvass. It's very refreshing, less body than a soda or beer. Far less sugar than a soda and more enjoyable than Kombucha. The 500 ml cans look really great and authentic.

The name of that brand is translated from Russian as Yellow Barrel Kvass. In Soviet Union there were yellow barrels in any parks. I remember kvass from my childhood. This item is not a kvass from my childhood. It's extremely sweet. The smell is not bread. It looks like sugar syrup.
