Sword Art Online SAO Medium Carbon Steel with Sheath-Kirito Elucidator, Asuna, Kirigaya (Kirito Elucidator Version 2)

First of all, the shipping was incredible. I placed the order December 30th and received it this afternoon (1.4.16), I was really impressed with how quickly the sword came, when it was scheduled to arrive on the 11th or 12th. It was packaged very securely and safely, the box it came in wasn't damaged at all, which was very pleasing. Overall, Elucidator's beautiful! It's true to the anime, well balanced, and put together very well. There were a few scratches in the paint by the hilt from being in the sheath (I'm assuming), but it's nothing major. The only major complaint I have is that there's a fairly big crack in the side of the sheath. I'm not sure if the crack formed since the box was sitting outside my house in the cold this morning for a couple of hours or if something happened during manufacturing/shipping unrelated to the quality and security of the packaging itself. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with this and I know my boyfriend is going to love it for our anniversary! (He's planning on getting me Lambent Light!)**Update: I contacted Top Swords about the damaged sheath about a day or so after it initially arrived and they promptly shipped out a new sheath that arrived within 2 days in perfect conditions and was also very securely packaged.Thank you Top Swords!

Very nice sword, I assume it to be partial tang based on my partner swinging it around. Similar to real blades it's slightly oiled up in the sheath. The sword itself is not sharp but is very pretty. All the paint was accurate, no mistakes or blemishes were seen.

Awesome sword, great weight to it, looks perfect and the x isn't off centered. Only reason that I'm giving 4 of 5 is because the cap on the end of the handle fell off immediately and was only held on by a small strip of hot glue. I recommend that the thrad it on it the future.

First let me say that I collect a lot of replica weapons from my favorite shows and films (I own replicas of Narsil, Gimli's Battle Axe, The Fighting Knives of Legolas, etc.) and I have been an avid weapon collector of all kinds for over ten years. The "Elucidator" replica that I purchased is honestly a great product for the price. The blade is 440 stainless steel and comes unsharpened, though you could easily sharpen it if you have the knowledge and means. The workmanship is about a B+ as some of the colored areas (like the silver stars on the hilt) are a little bit sloppy. For the price, I can look past the little flaws for the fact that the blade itself is very straight. In the past when buying replica weapons this has been an issue 50% of the time, the sword or blade being bent or curved when it shouldn't be. The weight was surprisingly heavier than what I was expecting and that's always a plus.Overall, the price is right for this replica and I would definitely recommend it for any hardcore SAO fans that want something awesome to hang on their wall for all their friends to be jealous of.

There are only two words that can express this replica. Absolutely Phenomenal! I am impressed with the quality of the sword and how beautiful it looks. It's a hand and a half sword, un-sharpened but the tip does have a bit of a point to it. The leather wrapped handle is absolutely beautiful and the pommel is solid. The Guard does rattle a bit when the sword is smacked which means there is either a gap in the guard or the blade has a short tang. Also the sword is NOT made of high carbon steel, it is made of 440 stainless (says so on the sword). The scabbard is all wood and has a nice solid "click" when the sword is sheathed. Seeing as I wont be swinging this sword around and its just going to be hung on a wall, id say is an amazing buy for the price.

I only rated this a 5 because I rounded up from 4.5, the reason being because I am a perfectionist and there was a couple of scratches, well, I wouldn’t call them scratches since they aren’t actually damaging to the blade, it’s just a rushed paint job that can be easily fixed, also the sheath has a minor defect, the little metal thing at the edge that avoids scratching at the wood was already very loose on it when it arrived, I don’t know if it was the manufacturer’s fault or if it was the doing of delivery, but a quick hot glue fix is the solution, also it’s fairly heavy, I’d say around 8 pounds which is a decent toll on the wrist, it’s perfect for a fan that wants it for decoration, and also for a diehard fan since I couldn’t find a better manufacturer than this one, it’s a fantastic product with extremely minor defects, but I don’t doubt the durability of the sword or the amount of effort that was placed into it because it is AMAZING for the price

I was afraid this sword would be loose at the handle or jiggle like some reviews led me to believe. It is a nice and solid piece, though. The blade isn't really sharp, but definitely can be sharpened...just be careful not to scratch the black on the blade. It was a great price and I bought 2, both are good quality/the same. I ordered from the 1sword seller as they carry almost exclusively weaponry in their shop, and the boxes arrived fairly well packaged and intact. 10/10 this is going to be a great gift/wall princess

I'll start with the good, looks very much like the Elucidator from SAO, the markings look correct. For what I paid it seems good enough to frame and hang on my wall, handle was leather wrapped and comfortable. Now the bad about this sword. First off, this blade was quenched in oil, put together, and thrown in a box. This thing had quenching oil practically dripping off the entire blade. This is also 440 steel, marked CHINA right on the blade, not high carbon steel. This however isn't terrible, the CHINA logo is only on one side and can be oriented to face the wall. Lastly, the hilt is painted aluminum and it feels like it when you hold it. However, i wouldnt swing this thing with any great force because i dont think it would hold together. The finish on this was horrible, see close up pictures, the silver paint lining the edge of the hilt was thrown on carelessly. I will have to hit up a hobby\craft store and try to match the paint to finish the hilt so it doesn't look horrible. For what I paid I'm generally happy with the blade, but the rest was hastily finished and technically not what was described in the listing and my hands still smell like oil, even after several washings. The scabbard was decent and the sword only fit one way and there was a satisfying "click" when it seated properly. I would have given this sword 3 1\2 stars if I could, but since I have to finish the detailing, it's closer to 3 than 4 stars.
