Great snake protection/fit!
Fit well. Easy to zip on and off. Draw string could work a little better but not necessary as these do not slide down your leg when walking. Stay in place on their own. Can secure bottom to boot with a strap or paracord if wanted. These also fit perfectly over a pair of LaCrosse rubber boots that I spend most season wearing here in the swamp. Yes if u cannot walk without rubbing your legs together then they will make some noise. I don’t rub my legs together when walking so no noise. Really like these. Not a cheap product making exaggerated claims. Good gear and quality built.

Should Come with a Storage Bag
Overall I like the gaiters. The are light weight but a little stiff. I assume the stiffness is a characteristic of the material required to stop a snake bite from penetrating. After use I cleaned them up to put them away and realized that there isn't a storage bag or pouch provided. Come on! $200 and no bag for storage. I was able to find the perfect solution on Amazon for $5, but I should not have had to!

I've tried them all!!
These are so worth the cost when you're working in a hot climate! I own just about every brand of gaiters out there, and hands down, these are the most comfortable, and provide the best air circulation. Yes, you'll sweat, but not soaking wet pants when you take them off sweat. Worth every dime!

Great material but poor quality zipper.
These TurtleSkin snake leggings worked well and definitely provide excellent protection from snakes and are very comfortable to wear but the zippers are poor quality and frequently jam up. These leggings would be 5 star if they used metal YKK zippers like they have used in the past on their brush pants.

Very adjustable!
Im short and was worried about these working for me, but they work great! I just used some locking carabiners to attach the eyelet to my shoelaces and off I went!

Ankle elastic is tight
I found the elastic cord that is sewed into the hem at the bottom uncomfortably tight. If you're wearing them over boots, this probably won't be a problem for you. In my case, I'm hiking with low-tops so it rubbed uncomfortably on the back of my ankle. I was able to solve this by removing the stitches on one side to release the elastic cord, and then stitching the hem back up. After that, they've been comfortable. I use the two outer eyelets to run my shoe laces through, which prevents them from riding up.

Solid Snake Gaiter
I was at a Rattlesnake Roundup in Sweetwater Texas 10+ years ago when I first saw these demonstrated. Since then, I have owned 2 pair (both still in great shape). Not only do they work, they are comfortable to wear. ***They do not rub or chafe. Which means you'll be more likely to carry them and wear them when you are hiking/hunting in the bush. The only negative is that they don't come with an under-boot strap. Which means you'll need to run a cord(zip tie) through the eyelets at the base of the gaiters around the bottoms of your shoes/boots to keep them from riding up.

manufacturer needs to make smaller sizes
I bought these because I live in southern Arizona and like to hike alone in remote places. The "regular" size, which is the smallest size they make, is huge on me. I'm an average size female, 5'6", and thin. These are about 2 inches too long and 4 inches too big around. I can't pull the cinch-string at the top tight enough to fit- they stay up only because they're so stiff. Since they are stiff and too long, they dig into the back of my knees. They are so big around, they balloon out and rub together when I walk. The manufacturer apparently thinks only large people need to be protected from snake bites. I will probably try to alter them somehow- I can't sew them (I tested them with a sewing needle and it is indeed almost impossible to push it through) and don't know if they can be cut with scissors. I'm thinking about unzipping them and overlapping the edges with glued-on velcro to make them smaller around, but that still doesn't take care of the extra length. I just wish they would realize that women (and smaller men) exist and may need protection from snake bites too.
