The author makes good use of photos to illustrate the variety of goat breeds. The chapter summaries are well done. There are also some good checklists and additional resources at the end of the book. I’m a numbers person, and would have found it helpful if the author provided some summary charts of the overall expected set up and operating costs of care for one or more goats (perhaps using a common example of a single or pair of goats). Overall, this is an enjoyable, informative, and practical book on keeping goats.
