Great for marbelling paints

I use this primarily as a high gloss collage adhesive, rather than to alter paint pouring qualities. I bought this in error however it has worked very well for collage, especially when using glossy magazines where many glues can dull the images, this maintains full shine when dry. I have found this dries to touch dry quickly within an hour or so, however as with any acrylic medium it has a long cure time which can be weeks to be fully cured and it can be sticky if other papers are put on top and under pressure before it is fully cured. This is a very fluid medium (naturally, it is a pouring medium) which makes it easy to spread and get a thin layer as a glue. It is a good sized bottle that has also lasted very well because not much is needed for gluing and so it has been a good value, albeit accidental, purchase!

Liquitex do good product and always a safe bet. This is no exception, you can mix away and get your desired consistency knowing the results will be excellent . I highly recommend.

Liquitex have a great range of mediums suited to acrylic paint for ultimate effects in your creations but I’m not advanced as some other artists that use it frequently for pouring layers of acrylic, there’s some amazing instagram and YouTube videos of its sheer purpose and range of techniques to achieve certain pouting styles. I advise you practice before final execution for beginners. Where gloves and ensure you use this product In studio environment or workshop, last thing you need is this on you’re carpet, clothes and so on. It’s tough stuff. Tech:Spec - There’s no odour as such which is a positive, the texture liquidity is not too thick yet slithers and holds well in pouring motion. Allows control and enough time to apply in terms of duration of drying/setting and duration of moving and pouring the style you desire can create a range of effects. Can be combined with heavy body acrylic which will thicken the texture slightly so slower pouring in contrast to a thinner liquid pour. You can use Liquitex acrylic paint range. Alternatively you can introduce alternative brands to. I purchased a small amount for minor pouring effects on my work for surrealities. It’s great fun. Look into online episodes as mentioned. Go for it. It’s good quality with a range of mixing and applying options to explore.

Great quality

Great pouring medium. I tried it for the first time and was so impressed with the outcome. It's creamy and mixes easily with paint. There is no unpleasant smell. It dried bright and smooth. It doesn't produce any cells though, so you may have to use some additives to get cells if you want them. It's a perfect pouring medium but it's bloody expensive. On the bottle it says to use 5% paint to 95% medium. So you need A LOT. A couple of medium-sized paintings and a 1litre bottle is gone. I still buy it when on offer but have to look for cheaper alternatives.

Fabulous meduim for acrylic pouring. Expensive but you don't have to use alot most of the time. Didn't like it as a varnish. Not enough glassy sheen.

Wer seine Acryl-Malerei um neue Varianten bereichern will, der liegt bei diesem Profi-Produkt durchaus richtig. Unter Zuhilfenahme von Heavy Body Farben aus dem gleichen Hause und im richtigen Mischungsverhältnis (unbedingt vorher ausprobieren!) lassen sich hervorragende Ergenisse erzielen. Man kann eine Flüssigvariante wählen oder das Mischungsverhältnis auch etwa zähflüssiger anlegen. Der Fantasie sind bei dessen Einsatz keinerlei Grenzen gesetzt. Natürlich sind Schutzhandschuhe und eine schützende Unterlage ein absolutes Muss. Wer nicht im Atelier, sondern daheim hiermit experimentiert, sollte diesbezüglich unbedingte Vorsorge treffen und Vorsicht an den Tag legen. Hernach muss eine kürzere oder auch längere Trocknungszeit von 1-2 Tagen berücksichtig werden. Da die Materialien nicht ganz preiswert sind, sollten genaue Überlegungen dem vorausgehen. Für Kinder ist der ganze Spaß selbstverständlich nicht geeignet. Ich jedenfalls habe sehr zufriedenstellende Ergebnisse hiermit erzielt und kann es nur jedem Profi-Künstler oder Hobbymaler wärmstens ans Herz legen. Great product for acrylic pouring enthusiasts

Dit product werkt goed! Ok heb green problem met de medium. Een tip: rode acrylic met deze fluid maakt een roze kleur. Het is belangrijk dat voor rode medium moet je meng een beetje oranje met rode acrylic.

This is the best medium I have ever used! The effects you get with this medium are more than worth the cost! I have went through 2 gallons of this stuff and am on to my third. I love it because it is self-leveling, doesn't crack or craze, it doesn't affect the opacity of the paint when mixed, and it has really has taken my work to the next level. This is such a fun product to work with but it is VERY MESSY! Do not get it on your skin. Wear long gloves. I got this on my hands, arms and a bit on my legs and after about 2 hours of scrubbing with the rough side of a sponge, rubbing alcohol, a loofa, a nail brush and a washrag... I finally got most of it off (along with a bit of skin, OUCH)! It dries fairly fast and feels like a rubbery plastic but really does makes cool effects! It is very shiny when dry. I made a 3 piece painting set with it and it sold in less than 3 days off of my Facebook page! It's worth trying out, just remember to protect anything you don't want it to touch (including yourself).
