Been around for decades, but constantly being improved. Old car with old crankshaft seals had been consuming a lot of oil. After an oil service with GTX, it still burns oil, but at a rate of one quarter of what it did before. A much more manageable situation until I have time to carry out scheduled repairs. Sure, it costs more than some other popular brands, but it outperforms them by a country mile based on my experiences.
