Inflatable Travel Pillow – Air TNE – Adjustable, Lightweight, and Supportive for Sleeping on Airplanes, Trains, and Cars– Customized Fit and Compact Carrying Case (Midnight Black)

This was recommended by the New York Times Wirecutters section as the best inflatable pillow, so I bought one. I used it yesterday on a four hour flight, and I’ve used it at home in a recliner. It is MUCH better than I expected. It’s very comfortable, easy to inflate, easy to deflate, and well made. It provides good support from the side and front as well as the back. Note that it doesn’t need to be inflated all the way, and indeed it shouldn’t be. It’s easy to let some air out while using it until it is just right. Often in a recliner, an extra inch of padding is all that is needed. On a plane, this lets you rest your head and nap with you head forewards, backwards, and to the side.

Love this pillow! I waited until after my international trip to review it to give an accurate impression. This is easy to blow up and deflate, it fits in a water bottle pocket very nicely (as advertised), and once I found the best inflation level, provided a comfortable snooze, even in coach class. On two long-haul flights (10+ hours each) there was no visible wear and tear. The one downside I will mention is that I bought a second one for my son who was traveling with me. He is a sensory kid. The feel of the pillow was great for him, but the sides came up too high around his face to be comfortable so if you or a family member has sensory issues, definitely try this extensively before getting on a plane or stick with the more traditional pillows that have a lower profile around the face. I enjoyed it because I felt snuggled in a cocoon, but that isn’t for everyone. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a cost effective travel pillow.

Well, I still don't really sleep great on planes with this since I nod forward and wake myself up but it's definitely better than the other pillows I've used. It only takes a couple of breaths to fill up and it's very easy to adjust and deflate. The Velcro isn't the kind that snags on stuff and it's very soft. I like that you can deflate it to your desired squish levels. So I'd say, yes it improved my sleep on a plane but it's not life changing or anything. For $25 or so, sure it's definitely a nice to have, and it's great that it folds up small. I can't fold it up quite as small as it came in but it's good enough to get it back in its carry bag. Another review said it folded up the size of a soda can - that's about right. It's about that diameter and maybe a little bit shorter than a can and it has straps on it for you to strap it to the outside of a bag.

Really nice travel neck pillow. I love it's small size when rolled up and store in the provided storage bag. I also like how you can control the firmness of the pillow by how much air you put inside it. The elastic strap with velcro works great to keep it secure, and the outer layer/cover is comfy and soft. Can confirm that it does work great with my Sony MX5 noise-cancelling headphones. Would be a bummer if it developed a leak during a trip, but, it seems well built and it folds up sooooooo small when not in use for ease of transport. Highly recommended!

This is the third Cabeau travel pillow I've owned. The others were an Evolution Classic, which I still own and absolutely love, and an Evolution Cool, which I didn't love and regifted to someone who appreciated it more. I got the Air TNE for times when I can't bring my trusty Classic -- like whirlwind bus trips for concerts at NYC venues with bag restrictions. It does sacrifice some comfort for that portability, but is still comfortable and supportive enough I'd choose it over a competitor's memory foam travel pillow. There's only one problem, and it's kind of a big one -- the strap. I am not a large person, but no matter how inflated the pillow is or which position I use (buckle or no buckle), there is just no way to make that strap work for me. It is too thick and too tight. Worse still, it seems to be a thing on newer versions of the foam pillows as well.

I loved how compact this was for travel and flexible for different body shapes and comfort levels. Used it to go overseas this Summer and it was so quick to inflate and deflate. I would highly recommend it.

I bought two of these for an international flight and they were SOOO much better than old style inflatable pillows. The valves are amazing - they inflate with two breaths (!), and deflate as easily. They fit well into their small stuff bag, which has nice drawstrings that tie onto bags for security. They surface is velvety and comfortable. The strap provides adjustability, and you can wear them in different ways to rest at different angles. I don't like carrying bulky pillows, and the much-touted Trtl was bulkier and less comfortable, so very happy to have found these. An excellent purchase!

Compact to fit in suitcase. Easy to inflate, and the plush outside of pillow makes this comfortable against skin. Most would not recognize this as an inflatable neck pillow. Provides support for neck. Highly recommend.

First time using an inflatable travel neck pillow. Liked having the options of filling it partially for softness or all the way for firm support. Easy and quick to inflate, deflate, roll up and stash away. No more lugging around a bulky neck pillow. Perfect for travelling light.

It’s a great concept, but it pushes your head forward. I really couldn’t use it, it was so uncomfortable.
