The tool is ok.
Around the years of 2000 VW that I know of has the craziness rear brake calibers i ever seen. You got to push in and turn the caliber piston inward at the same time and do it all in time. Good luck if your calibers are old or weathered. (Buy new calibers.) The tool took some abuse and did okay.

Didn't receive all the parts to this tool
This tool didn't come with the plate that you screw down on the outside of the Caliper.Because of this I had to psychically hold it in place while trying to screw the Caliper piston in, which took me about an hour to do because I could only get half a turn before the two pins that seat into the piston. So you can screw it in would come off.Really upset about this because I had to get these brakes fixed on the weekend so I could drive my car to work on Monday. Therefore after a out an hour and blisters on both hands I was able to get the piston screwed in all the way. Something that should have taken 5 or 10 min if the plate has been there in the package like it should have been

Worked perfectly for my 2017 Subaru Outback
This tool worked brilliantly for my rear brakes on my 2017 Subaru Outback with electronic parking brake. The outside notches fit right in, and slotting the metal plate inside the caliper made it easy to compress all the way down. It's very sturdy and I feel like it will last forever. Just a great little tool.

It works!
Works great! May not work if you have small calipers like a Kia Soul. Worked great on a Ford Fusion.

Did not fit the specified vehicle
I bought this to work on my rear brakes and said it would fit a Ford escape rear caliber it did not. I ended up having to take the round disc off and just use the shaft itself to push the caliper in and then turn the piston with a wrench. It was a little disappointed.
