AROMA 22Qt. Roaster Oven with self basting lid stainless steel

Amazing. The only way to cook a turkey! Can easily fit two large chickens and veggies, large turkey, prime rib. It's amazing.

Finally pulled the trigger on purchasing this roasting and have been questioning my previous sanity ever since. WHY did i live so long without this luxury??? This is such a game changer for holidays or large gatherings. I was raised Baptist... so IYKYK. This has made the large potlucks, or large dinner parties such a breeze for me. It works well and heats up great (though definitely gets hot to the touch on the outside so just be careful) It is sturdy and so flipping easy to clean up after. I've done a whole turkey and it cooked to perfect, filled it with sweet potatoes and russets for large pot lucks, etc. SO EASY! If you entertain or host large parties do yourself a friggin' service and just buy the blasted thing. You'll thank yourself later!

As far as roasters like this go, it functions well. The temp knob actually floats higher and higher while cooking so it must be watched. I used an thermometer that I can monitor while cooking. Also it cooks at a higher temp than the setting shows. If the setting is 275 degrees, actual temp is 319 degrees. If set at 300 degrees it rises to 325-350. If you can make those adjustments and basically keep watch over it it works ok. Pan and rack are pretty heavy-duty compared to the Hamilton Beach one, which I also tested. I was going to return this one, but decided to keep it. The turkey was good.

This was exactly what we were looking for. Large enough to fit a whole turkey. Roasts evenly and has multiple temperature adjustments. Good quality for the price. Easy to clean

Between me and my wife I do most of the cooking. At almost 50, I have never used an electric roaster. This is a total game changer. I made a 23 pound turkey that turn out absolutely delicious and so moist, even the white meat. Not having to baste it every half hour was a huge plus and allowed it to actually cook faster, since it wasn't losing heat to be basted. With that said, I'm glad I have a set of wireless temperature probes or I would have done it my usual oven method time and over cooked it. Build quality is very good, and I expect it will last many years. I also did a temperature test with a laser temp gun and the temp setting of the roaster is very accurate.

Works great. If you want the self basting to work seems as if you need to have it 300 or below. Easy to clean. There was no icky new smell to it, so that is a plus. Cook time is great. I haven't tried toasting in it yet, but without doing so, I bet it will do great. I did like that you can put the lid on the side instead of putting it on the counter or sink. I'd definitely buy again if I needed to.

I ordered: Used - Good: The item shows wear from consistent use, but it remains in good condition and functions properly. Item may arrive with damaged packaging or be repackaged. It may be marked, have identifying markings on it, or have minor cosmetic damage. I received a Brand New one still shrink wrapped for only $60 CDN All I can say is: "Right On" My only complaint is that my wireless thermometer loses its signal often. The heating elements are on the sides of the unit which causes interference.

I bought this roaster oven to use in Australia, I knew I needed a step down converter. It stopped working half way through roasting down tomatoes. So maybe if your a Aussie that wants to buy it just be mindful that the same may happen. I was so excited to receive it and do big batch cooking but it wasn't to be and to much of a hassle and probably cost to return back to the states.

I just plugged it in for the first time and it blow up and started smoking

The best little roaster! So nice to have an extra device to free up my oven on special occasions!
