VegTrug® 8 Pocket Herb Planter, Grey Wash, 78x58x80 cm

I had to wait a long time for this product to be released, but it was most certainly worth the wait. I assembled it single handed (yay!!) in about 15 minutes and, whilst it's not the most solid item I've built, it was plenty stable enough once completed. Although the individual sections each have their own liner, I have left my herbs in the pots they came in, and they appear to be flourishing. With 8 good sized sections there is plenty of room for variety and the overall appearance is really quite impressive. I have decking outside my kitchen door and this raised solution is so much better than the pots and troughs that I've had in previous years that resulted in stained decking and slug eaten herbs. I defy the blighters to get anywhere near them now! Even my other half, who is somewhat precious about 'his' decking, thinks it is perfect.

Please with purchase easy to assemble, I completed this on my own I'm a novice to building something like this. There is a few youtube videos to guide you on building this if help is needed.The compartments for herbs are spacious. I would definitely recommend. I used 50 litres of compost to fill the compartments. Hope this review helps.

It was bought as a bday gift for my mum who absolutely loved it so it therefore did the job intended.. however In reality it is made from very cheap wood for the price you pay for it and it seems to have been put together rather haphazardly I can only assume on a factory line, some of the screws done at factory weren’t tight enough so had to ensure they were all tight enough and some bits of the wood are not perfectly aligned due to sloppiness of assembly line. But nevertheless it was easy to assemble it together. Not sure how it will last but it made my mum happy for her bday and that’s all that matters really right?!

Looks the part and was easy to put together. My only comment is the wood feels very ‘light’ and I’m not sure with sun and rain / winter etc it will last ‘years’ - let’s just see ! I will cover in winter and maybe treat with a wood oil in time. Looking forward to growing some herbs 😊

Good quality, I painted mine grey to match the greenhouse. Easy to use pockets to hold the soil. Good height so herbs can be tended to without bending over. Ideal if you don’t have a large garden.

Great piece of kit, all set up and ready for my herb seeds. Like all TRUGS , great quality materials used in construction. Very easy to assemble , with very clear instructions. Nice strong and solid build. Great value

A little light weight, but easy to assemble, and all assembled feels sturdy. Feel this product is value for money. I am very happy with it, new pretty much what to expect, and it is as expected. Will see how many winters it manages, it should last if cared for.

Lovely raised bed which I've placed next to my front door so I can smell the herbs when I get home. I can't wait for it to be full of wonderful green herbs. Good size to stand next to. Im 5ft 4ish Each compartment is large enough for plenty of each type of herb or veg .

an sich ist das Ding hübsch und passend, einzig die Einsätze sind gar nicht dicht, dh. wann immer es regnet oder man einfach zuviel bewässert fließt das Wasser einfach durch und das ganze Holzgerüst wässert sich ein

First order had a piece that was rotten and had mold spots. Easy return to my post office and ordered a new one the next day. Turned out great! Can be assembled using just a screw driver by one person but would have been easier using a drill. Pieces fit together well. Not sure how the wood will hold up in weather over time. Is light but stable enough for its purpose. Lots of splintering but again it’s fine for its purpose and doesn’t detract from look. Looking forward to planting herbs in it!
