I don't really write reviews on amazon that much, but this is perfect for holding a notebook and my tablet for a library homework trip, with plenty of room leftover for other essentials.

I really felt like this crossbody is really more towards men than women.I got this after seeing a photo of a woman model using it, but I liked the overall style of the bag.Wished it came in black as opposed to the brown. (I just don't wear a lot of brown anymore)It is durable, very well made. The material doesn't have an odor to it, it comes with a lot of organization.It does not fit an iPad or tablet larger than 9.7". So, if you have an iPad Pro, this will not fit it at all.The strap is made of up a canvas similar material with leather wrap. I just didn't like the strap being a completely different material than the body bag itself. It can be used as a hand bag or a crossbody/messenger style. It is adjustable.

If you are looking for THE perfect genuine leather messenger bag/purse then your search is over. This is without argument THE NICEST/BEST QUALITY item I have gotten so far in the vine program!!! FULL STOP!!! This is the real deal right here folks!Are you tired of ordering items that say in the listing they are leather, only to be disappointed when it's delivered as you discover it's cheap fake/faux leather like I am? If so then your search is over! You will not be disappointed here! I am very experienced with handling high quality leather gear with horses/dogs/ coats/purses/boots.... We are talking I have paid several hundred dollars before for what I needed/want. Now this is not to say I am rich because I'm not, but I can tell you from personal experience that high quality leather lasts and it just keeps getting better with age when properly cared for and is worth every penny you pay for it.I have looked at these type of bags on Amazon for a long time trying to pick just the right one, I had finally decided on one when the maker said yes they would customize it for me, but I had not ordered yet. So imagine how happy I was when I saw this listed?!!! I snapped it up immediately! It looked fantastic in the listing, but I told myself not to get excited until I had it and could see if it was really that good.So I was sick for almost 2 weeks with whatever bug I picked up in the hospital when my mom recently had to go to the hospital by squad. This was delivered and along with all the other packages I just had to put them aside for a bit until I got over being sick, and got time with my work schedule to open them all. So I just opened them last night and when I opened this package this bag exceeded all my expectations!So on with the review. This bag is made of GENUINE thick full grain cow hide leather! Oh the glorious smell of genuine quality leather is just the best! And the feel? Soft buttery smooth on the outside with butter soft suede like polyester material on the underside of the top flap, silky smooth soft polyester material for the rest of the inside! This is leather that has been properly tanned/cured prior to making the bag, and has been expertly crafted into this bag! The attention to detail is evident in every inch/aspect of this bag! Stitching throughout is impeccable! The company logo is stamped onto the top side of the fold over flap, but it's placed low and not obtrusive.This particular messenger style bag is oriented vertically, it is not a wide horizontal bag, but it is still big and has a ton of room inside it! Top quality gold tone metal hardware, including all metal zippers that all work smoothly/properly! There is a nice perfect handle on top to grab it to pick it up or carry it by. The top fold over flap has 2 very strong magnets to hold it shut, so the flap stays closed when you grab it by the handle.Under the main flap on the front of the bag, is a big flat leather slip in pocket the full width of the bag and almost the full height, great place for a tablet or e-reader or paper notebook.... On the front of this strong pocket is where the 2 magnets to hold the top flap shut are located.On the outside front is a good size raised zip close pocket, it's under where the top flap would close to the magnets. On the inside under the flap you will find 2 zip close main pockets! The zippers go from the outer side about 1.5 inches down to up and all the way across the top to down the other side about 1.5 inches, so you have good size access down into them. There is a leather loop attached with a small metal ring for all the zipper pulls. On the back outer side there is another good size zip close pocket, this pocket is flat and goes to inside of the bag as opposed to the raised outer pocket on the front.Inside the front main compartment are 2 nice size big/deep slip in pockets for your cell phone, or checkbook/wallet or whatever. The rest of this compartment is open and is big enough for an e-reader or tablet. Just remember to be careful and not scrape these items on the metal zipper teeth. This pocket is the full width of the bag, but is thinner front to back than the back main compartment.Inside the back main compartment is a zip open pocket, this pocket does use a nylon zipper but it works smoothly. On the front of that pocket is a leather patch with the company logo and a ring for clipping your key fob or keyring to it... The rest of this pocket is wide open and again can easily fit an e-reader or tablet. The back main compartment is the full width of the bag, but is wider front to back than the front compartment.On each side of the bag on the outside, you will find a well secured strong leather patch with the lovely gold tone strong metal rings to hook the shoulder/crossbody strap onto. The strap itself is not leather. It is a nice wide strap that is strong but soft to touch so should not irritate your skin. I believe the strap is made of a VERY heavy duty cotton weave material called molle, it's what they make a lot of military grade gear out of due to it's quality and high strength. The strap is also adjustable with a slide adjustment, it has a nice wide moveable leather piece on it to help cushion over your shoulder too. Really nice quality antiqued strong metal clips to hook onto the side rings of the bag too! I am not worried about these clips breaking as I am with some straps.The color in the listing is called coffee, and the bag is indeed a dark brown with some slightly lighter areas that give it almost what is known as a "distressed" look. But's not so dark as to be a brownish black. Honestly the only thing I might want differently on this bag is a slide in snap closure on the top flap or a strap & buckle to actually buckle it closed. But I'm sure I can live with it as it is, if I really wanted to I could take the bag to one of the Amish harness shops a couple of hours from us and get those added.At the regular price $67.99 per the listing this bag is an awesome buy and worth every penny! It's on sale right now for $59.99, and let's just make it a steal of a deal as there is a 5% off coupon for 1 AND another 10% off coupon if you buy 2! Do not hesitate to get one of these bags for yourself! Would make an awesome gift I would be proud to give too!I will be using this as my new favorite go to crossbody bag! Some who have read some of my other reviews will know I am handicapped. I use a cane in my right hand and have my service dog's leash in my left. So I love crossbody/backpacks/sling bags...as they allow me to keep my stuff secure and my hands free.As always I only do honest reviews and will update if needed. Sorry for the long review here on this one but I just had to do justice to this bag! I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.
