TetraPond AquaSafe 101.4 Ounces, Makes Tap Water Safe For Pond Fish

Works extremely well when adding water to pond. Fish still happy. Much cheaper than my pond supplier. Water always clear, filamentous algae like it, when water exposed to full sunlight. Mark of healthy pond.

***Highly recommend this even for large indoor aquariums. Have used this to condition city water so usable by aquarium fish. My fish in aquarium have been doing very well for many years using this product. Using pond conditioner as have two 110 gallon aquariums and one 75 gallon aquarium. This has worked very well for me and I strongly recommend using this. - added - just keep ordering more every few months as it works great conditioning the city water. Noticed Amazon sold out on this in December was very glad they got more in stock and lower price than other sellers.

Not long after a second dose, we had goldfish bumping uglies in the pond. Absolutely crazy. We have been working towards a better and better biological environment for the fin kids. This seemed like a good next step. Glad we tried it, going to order more.

We have a pond in our backyard and purchase the Tetra Pond Aquasafe to keep the water just right for our fish, snails, and plants. Before our pond, we used the aquarium Aquasafe for decades. It is a good product. Usually we buy the 16oz bottle. Last time we considered buying the 101oz bottle but didn't want to spend the extra money. Now no one has the 16oz bottles and the 101oz has gone up 30% but our only option. So this is my first experience ordering the jug. The way it is packaged, it was laying on its side and leaking from the cap. There were three attached air bags for padding. The jug was damaged/dented, the shipping box was not, so it must have been damaged before it was shipped. I've wiped it off but you can still see that it has leaked. I have set it on a paper towel to test if the container is leaking.

Not sure why, but the price of 101 ounces of TetraPond Aquasafe has doubled in the last year, on Amazon and elsewhere. While it works very well, from where comes the price hike?

For amount needed depending on most small ponds or aquariums, this should last a full year when adding water.

This product works fantastically and is absolutely necessary if you use city tap water which has large amounts of chlorine in it if you have fish in the pond. You can use a large amount of tap water to top off pond if you use the correct amount of product. But don't do what I did - accidentally threw hose in pond while cleaning the filters and forgot about it and it ran all night. Killed all of my beautiful koi because I hadn't put any of this product in.
