It would come in handy in a big croud I'm sure. I really bought it for the size. It's just the right size for my baby to hold without dragging him down. So far it has held up to my toddlers abuse. It zipps well. There is enough space for one over night trip. When my other little one gets big enough I will buy her one too, if it's still available. All in all a good buy.
