Arrived on time, I opted not to pay for next day delivery, £100 extra seemed a bit steep to me. Over 2 weeks of anticipation, and yeah, many times, I wish I'd paid the extra🤭 When it arrived I was a little disappointed, because it sounded rubbish. As it happens though, this was just me😚 I'm a complete novice The instrument looks great, it feels well made too. Its a steep learning curve,but I've managed to get a few pleasant notes out of it. Been learning the fingerings for ABCDEFG, and it doesn't sound too bad, for day 2. All the side keys seem to work. As for a learning tool for a beginner (assuming there's no problem I don't even know could exist) this saxophone is definitely worth a shout I think the jump in price to a next level saxophone is just too great for a beginner, especially if you're not sure you'll stick to it. At around £160, maybe £40 for a new mouthpiece and £30 on a synthetic reed( my ear prefers cane reeds,but learning is partly about getting best use of practice time, I don't want to wait while my reed soaks, so synthetic it is for me😋), this instrument really is a no brainer. At that price it really is an affordable entry into the world of the saxophone. So far, I can't fault it, absolute bargain 👍 Tbf, I mentioned the mouthpiece, and tbh, I got just as nice tone out of the stock mouthpiece, as I did with a different mouthpiece. I think its whatever you get used to. If all else fails, it'll make a cracking ornament😉🤭 I've had it around 3 weeks now, and after a couple of days I knew enough to know I needed to take a screwdriver to it( it was inevitable tbh 🤭). I put a leak light down her and was quietly surprised, 1 leak. Best of all it really was just a tweak with a screwdriver 😁. I also had to do something about the neck joint, so out came the sandpaper😏 it's a sweet fit now, effortless, yet still airtight( I think, if left, over time, scoring would maybe create leaks). The cork on the mouthpiece was a little too thick so needed sanding too(it was too tight on the mouthpiece,so was risking damage to the octave pad on the neck) it's a nice fit now😁. A couple of corks fell off, so the keys got noisy on the body. Had to cut and shape some, then glue them on . A little TLC and a little mechanical knowhow and you can have a really nice instrument for very little. Spend the savings on a Rovner ligature, Bettersax classic mouthpiece, legere synthetic reed ( I like the American cut) 1.5 was great to start with, I'm thinking about 2 now🤔 I also added new neck nut, it's just a little easier to grip than the stock nuts. Great saxophone, really impressed, hopefully be playing it for years to come 👍

Why did you choose this product over others?: The price and what came with the saxophone. I have seen saxophones for this price alone, and buying the bundle makes it a lot simpler. It comes with 2 wooden reeds and the instrument works really well i have no issues. No instructions for beginners on how to put it together but a quick google helps! Value for money: A great quality sax with everything you need

Awful item!!! Took weeks longer than stated to arrive. Initially the seller agreed to a discount due to delayed delivery. Great I thought, that might make up for the delay. It finally arrived and I wish it hadn't... Half the buttons are dud and don't move or work. No sign of the discount though, so messaged and let them know that not only did it take so much longer to arrive, but that it was faulty. They said again they would refund a discount. This finally arrived today... Almost a month after everyone delivery and only because I questioned them about it several times. No victory dance though, after all the hassle and disappointment a massive £10 was refunded....whoop whoop. No...I don't recommend this product, or seller

Purchased this as a gift for my partner who had never played before but always wanted to. The item was well packaged and looks good with everything you need to get started. It plays well and sounds good, would recomend as a good starting point with a sax to see if its what you want to do without spending a fortune.
