This is an expensive, but amazing piece of kit. I bought this to use in our motorhome as i will sometimes work on the road and need a reliable connection. I'm using it in Ireland with an Eir 5G sim card and I'm getting over 100mbs download and around 25mbs upload. Very pleased with it

Doesn’t work, switches it’s self off and on. Poor built quality not worth the price tag. Good connectivity.

Out of the box and running in 5 minutes. All smart devices are connected to 2.4Ghz and phone, laptop & TV on 5Ghz. Never known speed like it. It was a big outlay but have tried a variety of solutions with aerials for a mobile solution (boat) without success but this delivers. Very happy with the result so far.

This is the worst piece of technology I have ever purchased. I have spent many hours trying to get it working again. I paid over £500 in October and I see the price is now over £700. That is more expensive than an Apple Mac mini computer. I have an unlimited SIM card from EE which works perfectly in another router but in this Nighthawk rubbish it won't even boot up. When I first got it, it worked ok for a short while and now it is just an expensive paper weight. It is a shame I can't give it no stars but that is what it deserves.

On 5G: ~200 kbps upload and ~20 Mbps download (on a good day). For comparison my €200 smartphone on the same network and SIM consistently reaches ~40 Mbps upload and ~300 Mbps download. On 4G: The Netgear manages only about half the speed of my phone and is even slower than my 10-year-old Huawei 4G MiFi. Given that I paid nearly 5 times more for the Netgear, this performance is unacceptable. I figured out eventually that support from Netgear requires registering the device first, otherwise you are pushed to pay for premium support. Edit: After firmware 12. last few months it's definitely better, does not go to 60+ degrees and throttle, keeps about 40C now and speeds are quite respectable too. perhaps leaving the battery in but the lid out also helps a little. However with 12. it refused to connect to home network the first time, had to put a roaming sim initially to make it work again.

My phone sat next to this router uploades 4x faster. Unreliable, move it 30 mm , twist it and the upload dropped exponentially. Over priced junk. My M1 also uploads down loads in the same location faster than this. Dont buy.

Excellent hotspot device.

Absolute piece of junk and not fit for purpose. Constantly shuts down due to overheating, despite being used outside and in a well ventilated area (beside a football field), with only one device connected. DO NOT BUY..!!

Is super leuk en klein in afmetingen. Batterij gaat ook lang mee. Is een pluspunt om te hebben en overal internet.

Die Reichweite im Haus ist sehr gering. Ständiger Abbruch mit Neueingabe des SIM-Pins, einfach nervig. Ich habe diverse mobile Router von NETGEAR aus der Vergangenheit und damit einige Erfahrung mit unterschiedlichen mobilen Routern. Alte 4G/LTE Router haben eine bessere Performance als dieser. Der Speedtest ist ebenfalls identisch bis schlechter als bei meinem (ebenfalls NETGEAR) 4GRouter bei gleichem Standort…(Wohlgemerkt bei gleichem SIM-Karten-Einsatz) dieser Router geht zurück. Displayauflösung sowie Touch-Reaktionsempfinden sind aus der Vorzeit. Ich würde gerne etwas positives berichten, schreibe selten Reaktionen, aber dieser Router ist derart schlecht, dass ich wirklich jedem Kaufinteressierten von der Ausgabe abraten möchte. muy buen router 5G y si le sumas una antena Mimo 2x2 externa los Gb vuelan, por si solo no deja de ser un router muy compatible
