Bucklands Complete Book of Witchcraft (Llewellyn's Practical Magick)

As a newcomer to the craft, I was looking for a good book to introduce me to Witchcraft. After reading all of the reviews here I decided to go with 'Big Blue' and I'm very glad I did. The book is excellent, covers the basics of a wide variety of topics and I honestly couldn't put it down. Buckland talks about a number of things that i never associated with the craft such as numerology, astrology, palm reading, meditation etc that I found absolutely fascinating! The book itself is quite large and very easy to read, no fancy, unintelligible language and each chapter is followed by examination questions to test yourself with which I thought was a great addition! It is clear that Bucklan has done his research as he references a number of books which I thought was very helpful. I honestly cannot recommend this book enough.

Quite a insightful book by Buckland. Book discusses both Witchcraft and or the Occult. Rather than one or the other. Read and study this , you won't be disappointed

Amazing book

I bought this with the intention to read up on the subject and I have to say, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I'm barely able to put it down and thanks to the clear instructions, explanations and pictures it's really easy to follow. As a beginner it has been really useful and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the subject. I imagine for a more experienced person the book offers very little but it would still make a good point of reference. Really loved it, worth every

Everything you need to know in one book

An absolute classic, even non-Wiccans are given a valuable insight into Mr Buckland's practices. Lots included, even blueprints/measurements for making your own altar. Highly recommended, and set out with questions at the end of each chapter in order to help you develop your skills and understanding. Bravo to Big Blue!

If your in to all things wicca then this is a great book to have. Its full of interesting reading and explains all about witchcraft and certain aspects of it

excellent, clear no-nonsense language. not too American or Christian or any denomination. Comprehensive and well organised throughout. A great beginners' book but also for more advanced for revising. Also has tests to aid learning. Highly recommend this sensible book which really does <nearly> have it all. Not useful for specific spells but gives all the basic principles.

Ce livre est pour moi un livre d'apprentissage de la tradition et de la pratique wiccane et magique des plus importants à avoir lu. Même si vous n'êtes pas familier avec la wicca, l'auteur vous explique aussi pleins de techniques qui peuvent être utilisées sans être wiccan. Bien sur, il va de soi que c'est un des livres les plus importants à avoir si vous voulez vous lancer dans la pratique.
