I LOVE this deck! Of the many learning decks in my collection, I find this one to be hands-down the very best. The cards' face is comprehensive, containing detailed correspondences that enables readers to learn more at-a-glance and to delve deeper. In addition to the variety of one word meanings, the "short meaning" statements and the affirmations are so helpful. And, the important category references (love , career, finance) are a real plus! The deck is slightly longer, narrower, and thicker than the standard US Games Systems RWS deck. It fits comfortably in my hand and is easy for me to side-shuffle. The cards shuffle like silk. The cardstock texture is matte and low-gloss with nice flexibility and spring-back (although I avoid bending/bridging all decks). The chunky accompanying guidebook is very well thought-out, as it goes far deeper in specificity than most. The info on all cards is expanded upon and includes the meanings of colors and symbolism. The guidebook is printed in full color. This is a high quality, comprehensive learning deck and is well worth the purchase. Whether one is a tarot newbie or an experienced reader, you cannot go wrong with this gem of a tarot deck.

High quality and super cute tarot cards. They are fun to look at and has tons of information on each card. My daughter got into tarot cards and her first set had an accompanying book with them that was needed to understand each card. These have all the info right on the card. They seem durable and hold up well when shuffling. They are a good size, bigger than expected. Love them! I’d buy them again if we were looking for a gift.

I've bought, and given away, several of this type of learning deck with keywords and other info on the card. This is by far the best of the bunch and is a keeper. In fact I own most Wyspell decks, because they're great quality with great images and good guidebooks. Although I'm an experienced Tarot reader, I never really added astrology to my repertoire, and find it easier learning the astrological associations by using the cards themselves rather than trying to memorize from a book. The cards give a lot of other useful info as well, including time frame, element, affirmation, etc. The card stock is very good and the printing is well done. The box is sturdy. I'm not a snake fan so the card back is not my favorite image, but it's well done. The book is also excellent. I take issue with some of the symbolism descriptions, but I appreciate that the symbols are sometimes described slightly differently depending on the context of the specific card. All told, a very good learning deck. If you're in the market for this type of deck, this is the one to get.

I initially wanted to return this deck of cards because the edges started falling apart as soon as I began shuffling them. I had bought this deck to replace a previous one with the same issue, and I was disappointed that the new deck had the same problem, especially since I had spent more on it. Another thing that I didn't like was that I wanted the pictures on the cards to be larger. However, what I do like about the deck is that there is a lot of helpful information on the cards. I've been reading tarot for a while, but I'm not familiar with the Waite-Smith deck. I decided not to return the deck because the more I looked at the guidebook that came with it, the more I realized it's one of the best guidebooks I've ever seen paired with tarot cards. It's small, but it contains a wealth of information, including details about chakras, different card spreads, interpreting colors and symbols, and a quick reference for card meanings. The way the information is organized and presented in the guidebook reflects the expertise of the author and their ability to share knowledge effectively. I found the guidebook to be extremely insightful, and I believe it's worth purchasing separately. I think the author is very skilled and knowledgeable about tarot, and they have done an excellent job of conveying that knowledge in writing. I'm also impressed by how the cards are grouped by colors, which correspond to the elements they represent. This feature can be very helpful for beginners in understanding how the elements relate to interpreting the cards.

loved these, each card provides tons of information that is easy to understand. Quality and color are clear bold and excellent. Cards are durable, excellent price for the money. Absolutely no regrets!

I've been reading tarot for about 3 years now, so I'm not exactly a beginner anymore...but I still find myself referring to my library of tarot books more than I'd like. While perfect for beginners, this beautiful tarot deck is also a great choice for somewhat experienced readers who want to deepen their practice and just get "off book" once and for all. The cards themselves are attractive and easy to navigate, although the print may be a little small for those with vision challenges. The size fits well in my hands — not to big and not too small. I really like the fact that in addition to basic meanings printed right on each card, these cards also show associated numbers, elements, yes/no implications, planets and Hebrew letters. For me, the Hebrew letters feature is a particular favorite because I also use a Kabbalah deck regularly, and with this learning deck, I can also pull the associated Hebrew letter card from my Kabbalah deck to deepen the meaning of my reading. The deck comes nicely packaged, and includes an informative little book for those who want to delve deeper than what they can see on each card itself (of course that defeats the purpose of being off book, but hey, learning is a beautiful thing...) Wyspell is a good company that I trust. In the past, when I had a small issue with a different product, they responded quickly and more than resolved my issue. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tarot deck or Wyspell in general.

purchased twice! one for myself, and one for a friend after seeing how complete the set is. i compared many beginner decks and found this one to be the most detailed with the smaller symbols on the cards, as well as multiple aspects of card reading. I did pair the deck with a Llewellyn beginner tarot reading book and has proved helpful as additional material. The book this deck comes with does not describe reversal meanings although they are briefly on the cards themselves. The book that comes with the deck is color coded and easy to read. Wonderful starter deck.

I use these on a daily basis as they are my go to tarot cards. I find them handy and easy to use for yes and no questions. I highly recommend this deck to everyone who loves good tarot cards.

What I like about this deck is that everything is easy to read on the card which is great for beginners and those would like to study tarot, I like doing readings with this deck so my intuitive side can expand as well as those getting the readings see and understand the tarot a bit more as your doing their readings. I've noticed alot of people like this addition to their readings. The guidebook is a great addition, it goes more in depth with the meanings, colors an different associations with the cards. I would and do highly recommend this tarot deck.
