My son has had a blast with this. It's been a while since I've seen him get any kind of use out of any kind of project so it was so worth it. He's 13 years and was able to print to pictures and follow the instructions very easily without help. He enjoyed it so much I bought the kit that makes larger buttons too.

Tiny but gets the job done
I'm quite satisfied with its performance. One of the standout features of this machine is its installation-free design. Setting it up was a breeze, and I was able to start making pin badges right away. The 25mm size produces badges that are about 1 inch in diameter, which is perfect for my needs. While I appreciate its ease of use and efficiency, I did encounter a slight learning curve when it came to perfecting the technique for creating flawless badges. Additionally, I found that the machine occasionally jammed, causing some frustration.Overall, the Button Maker Machine 25mm is a solid choice for anyone looking to create custom pin badges without the hassle of complicated setup. Despite a few minor issues, it gets the job done effectively.

Best DIY Tool Ever
This is my favorite tool for making fun DIY buttons and pins. I love that there is no installation needed, and the instructions are easy to follow. I love this button and pin maker so much, and it's portable and easy to carry around. This machine makes buttons and pins easily. It's well made, durable, and after a year still going strong.

Broken and misaligned
Worked for a few dozen buttons, then something broke and now all buttons aren't crimping the plastic cover completely. Worked for an event I had but won't use again.

A fun project to do with the kids
I've wanted one of these button machines since I was a kid (yes, I'm actually old enough that loading up our jean jackets with as many buttons as possible was a legitimate style choice when I was young). But for a long time the only button machines I saw were commercial-grade ones that cost hundreds of dollars - I just wanted one for fun craft projects, not to start a business. When I got a chance to get this machine I jumped at it.I got it out the other night to make buttons with the kids. It's pretty simple once you read the directions, the first attempt I had the back piece in the machine upside down but I figured it out after that. you need quite a bit of oomph to clamp the button all the way in the press, small kids will need an adult's help. We tried several methods: we cut some pictures out of magazines, we used some stickers, I let the kids just draw on the paper circles, and we tried using the circle cutter on some old trading cards. They all worked well except the trading cards, they were a bit too thick for the machine to crimp the button properly. Maybe I just need to press harder, or order the components for the larger size buttons.Overall my kids loved it, they made buttons for their backpacks and my daughter made some buttons for her classmates. I will be on the lookout for magazines and papers we can make more buttons with!
