I have always added water to the line, and microwaved them for 2.5 minutes in the cup, and found that very convenient as a quick lunch at work. I like these very much and would purchase again, especially if they were a little cheaper.

**Q: Is this made in japan or made is USA?**
A: All the items in the cup come from Japan but it is all combined in the US and put in the cups.

**Q: Does the curry have meat in it? From the pics it looks like chicken but it could be tofu.**
A: It has pork sausage and chicken. The bits that look like meat you're seeing in the picture is potato.

**Q: Does this product require microwave preparation, or can you prepare it without microwaving simply by pouring boiling water into the cup?**
A: Hi dear, this cup noodle can be microwave when you remove the paper lid, or use boiling water...both ways are work for this tasty cup noodles 😇😇

**Q: Is this very spicy?**
A: It's a little bit spicy to me - I have geographic tongue and am extra sensitive. Not unbearable at all, and it's one of my favorite ramen flavors.

I got these based on reviews and didn’t think much of them at first. They’re mild and understated for flavor. I found out midway that the best way to have them is to doctor them up a little: salt, pepper, red chili flakes, a small bit of quality soy sauce and a drizzle of sesame oil. Add some furikake and fresh minced garlic with either a fried egg or a protein like sausage or both and you have something special. All of this might sound a little extra, but it’s all of an additional 3-5 minutes to make a really worthwhile little comfort meal/snack that’s memorable and satisfying. Second time ordering these and would recommend if using the aforementioned approach, if not and you’re just boiling water I would probably pick a different flavor like regular chicken or another brand like nissin rao (good little instant tonkotsu) or the hot noodles with the black and red packaging, can’t remember the name. Appreciate you listening to my rant and hope this is helpful!
