Del Monte Canned Seasoned Vegetables Zucchini with Italian Style Tomato Sauce, 14.5-Ounce (Pack of 12)

I ordered a case of these because no store in my new area carries this. Almost every single can in the case had dents in them. It was such a high percentage that I have to guess del Monte sends its dented cans to Amazon for shipment because the company knows these cans would not sell in a store.None of the cans was bloated so none of the cans had the kind of damage that would allow air in and cause the product to go bad. I have opened two of the most badly dented cans and the zucchini inside was fine.It is cooked just the right amount so that the zucchini is neither firm nor too soft. The tomato sauce surrounding the zucchini is flavorful but not hot spicy. I especially like to mix it into eggs while making an omelet. I don't even like zucchini as a rule, but I like the way del Monte prepares it!

Makes a great casserole

We love this product, but most of the cans have large dents! We won’t order from this company again!

One can had mostly sauce but the consecutive cans are more filled with zucchini. This ia a fine veggie all by itself, but also a good base for added veggies with plenty of sauce remaining. I'll buy it again.

These Zuchini in Italian tomato sauce is a family favorite but very hard to find so I was willing to pay an above average price for them.However, when the package arrived it was not in the manufacturers box but was hand packed in a regular brown cardboard box. Every can was slightly deformed, dented, or damaged in some way so obviously these were factory seconds that didn't make the grade.It is not bad enough to affect the product inside but I think that this information should have been disclosed.Still enjoying the Zuchini, though!
